Hi Di,

Lovely to hear from you, I know it's my life and I am sure I will sort it one way or another. Well had a nice weekend really well so far we had a chinese tonight which was nice and Alex & I and my Mom have been to Stourport which is like a little funfair and arcade and a shopping centre and we had a nice time.

Alex does well you can garantee he will be asleep by 22:00 and he will wake at 06:00. He does wake before that if he spits his dummy out but give him his dummy and he goes back to sleep.

He's had a big bowl of ready brek for breakfast with all of his milk in it and then he's had his dinner with a yogurt and then is tea, I am quite happy with what he has had.

You won't know what's hit you when you go away for those couple of days, I bet it will be so weird for you. I only go without Alex for one day and I feel so lost! but it will do you good I am sure, any chance to fit a small one in your case hee hee.

You having a good weekend anyway?

I have just been on ebay as well I am so addicted to it.

Love
Shell & Alex.

I'M HERE - FINALLY................................

My life is not my own these days..........and all work related.....
Absolutely hating leaving the wee man WHO by the way is a wee gem - no bother at all

Sam is like Alex at night - goes down about 8.30/9 and slepps right through til about 6.30/7 - touch wood that continues.

He's still taking his milk - and I finally gave up breastfeeding last weekend - I just couldn't do it any more with work - mind you, it was only at night. Anyway, he loves his food, but I think he should be finger fooding now - he lovesdairy lea triangles, but I've still not given him any wheat stuff.

As for sitting up Shell, not really but is getting there - I figure he'll do things at his own pace so I'm not bothered. You would never know now he was 7 weeks prem - how things change.

How's Alex?? More to the point, how's you????????????

Hi Girls,

Well not had such a good day today to be honest, been in tears worrying sick over Alex. It's bad enough him not drinking his milk but come today he's not hardly had any solids. He usually loves ready brek but he wouldn't touch it and all he's had to today is 5oz of milk and 2 jars of pudding, I was in tears to my Mom earlier because I am so worried he will lose some more weight.

Zoe - I am not looking forward to going back to work, what hours do you do? I will be doing 9 till 4.30 Monday to Wednesday but I really do not want to go back. Things are still very strained on the home front. DH is just so cold towards me its untrue and thats heartbreaking in itself. I must try Alex on dairylea triangles, do you just give him small pieces? How's Sam today Zoe I bet you miss him loads being at work?

Di - Lovely to hear from you, I am also shattered so will be going to bed in a bit, have a little read of my book, reading Danielle Steel Lightening at the minute. Alex been in bed since 8pm so I bet he will be a little fidget in the night. How is Ben? Your time is nearly here for you to be away for a few days, must be report and let me know how it goes.

Anyway the bed is calling.
Night Night.

Hi Di,

Lovely to hear from you, I guess the worrying just never stops does it?

Alex has done better with his foods today but not so good with his solids, I may take him and be weighed again today and see if he has put them 2oz back on.

I am still in turmoil at home Lee just so cold towards me and can't carry on like this for the rest of my life can I?

Does Ben drink milk now Di? We can't put them on cows milk until they are 1 can we? Doesn't make sense though because my h/v said to me that we can mix there food up with it.

I am going to have to go because Alex is crying, sorry it's short.

Hi Di,

Lovely to hear from you, weather is dreadful here today raining and so dark and its 08:00.

Well I did take Alex to be weighed yesterday and had my mind put at ease Alex has put them 2oz back on + more. He is now 20lb 4oz and they are pleased with him. I did mention about him not drinking his milk and they said providing he is taking his solids well they are not concerned.

Are you getting prepared for your few days away? I bet it will be so weird without Ben.

What sort of solids do you give Ben?

hi guys,

stop worrying the pair of you! (Di about your wieght and Shell about Alex eating - most babies start playing up with their food at some pint)

we're fine here - work just mental and I'm trying to think of every scam in the book to make money and not work... :D  :D Never mind - school holidays in two weeks...

Sam the man is great, although teething. wish they would appear and ease his griping!!! :? As for food - he's mostly on organic jars, sometimes rice cakes that he hasn't a clue what to do with, and good old dairylea!!! I tell you, he eats better than me! LOL

Hope you both and babes are fine

Hiya Only Me,

Well I am back, had a good ish day today well not seen Lee so that's probably why it's been good ha ha only kidding.

Well firstly had to take my buggy back to Mothercare because its broke, and they won't give me a new one they said they will only replace if it was within 28 days and because I had the buggy delivered on the 9th Jan they won't replace but will repair. I ain't happy really because I wanted it delievred the week before bab was coming along and they told me I had to have it earlier and then I didn't have Alex on time he come on the 4th Feb so you can understand my argument the buggy was already a month old and hadn't even had it out the box. Well I am going to phone hea doffice tomorrow and see what they say. I wouldn't mind if it was cheap but it was £210 which ain't cheap.

Di - Your few days are nearly here, enjoy packing, and if I don't speak to you before have a smashing time and don't miss Ben to much will you.

Zoe - I have tried Alex on some dairylea now you said and he also liked it. I have found Alex to like the Organic jars more so. He done well today because Mom done a stew and he had some carrot and parsnip, he pulled a face at first then decided he liked it.

Anyway off I go to sterilise bottles, and Di I can't stand this miserable weather, got loads of clothes to dry and much prefer to dry them on the life but got them in the tumble dryer.

And got my heating on too...

Zoe - I know I won't want to go back to work I have been selling some things on ebay, do you ever go on? If I could make enough on there I wouldn't have to go back but I don't think there is chance of that.

Hi Shell,

Hi Shellie,

Thanks for the post sweetie, I had the 3 in one travel system the albany one, it was a charcoal grey with a red trim. I am going to make the call to the head office I wouldn't mind but ain't had much use out of it. They did offer me one to tide me over why mine was being repaired but they are so dirty so I said NO I said there is no way my son is going in that, I wanted to say I have a son whose loved so much and concieved through IVF you don't think I would put him in a mankie buggy like that do you but I controlled myself. I will keep you informed how it goes and will let you know the outcome of the call tomorrow.

I am trying to keep the chin up even though its hard.

Have you had a good day today?

Love
Shell.
