Hey Buddies! :D

Hope everyone's ok today? Hot flushes and headaches not included!!!!!

Welcome Christine, really sorry about your delay, it must be frustrating when you are expecting it to happen. But wishing you loads of luck for when you do start, we'll be here for you! Also, I know this is not much of a consolation, but maybe try and cram in a few things to pass the time that you are not allowed to do when on ivf cycle while you are waiting, maybe get some really nice wine or anything you fancy!! Hope the time goes quick..
Jill - How are you getting on, when is your next scan? WOW ET next week!! That is coming round fast!!!!! Hope all is good!
JenF - How are those stimms, can you feel your ovaries twitching yet?? When is your next scan?
Pam + Alison - How's the 2ww?

Am absolutely knackered, I really can't catch up with myself! And Wow those side effects are having a party now!! Can't wait to get onto those stimms, roll on Monday!! I'm not going to have whinge though (much!!!) cos it's all good really girls!

Hi kel,
You sound very bright today which is good, I thinkit really helps everyone when bright positivenotes arrive. So the hot flushes have arrived! I actually really wanted more symptoms with the down reg as you know I really struggled with mine. Bazzarly a few hot flushes would have been good with me as i always felt (and rightly so as it turned out!) that I wasn't down regging properly. Stimms for you on Monday, same day as my scan so big day for both of us. Good luck with it.love Jill x
Hi Jen,
I hope you are feeling brighter today. I can feel myself dipping emotionally but I am really fighting against it and being on here is really helping. Bring me up to date on where you are up Take care love Jill x
Hi Christine,
Hope you are getting the hang of the site, it took me a little while but now you can't get me off it Love Jill x
Hi Pam,

Hi Jill!

Good luck for Monday! Will be checkin' up on you! I have a blood test on Monday to see if down reg is working, then if all good for some reason don't have my baseline scan until the wednesday and then hopefully stimms that day! Bit weird, as last time I just had a scan and not blood test first, but everything is totally different with the cycle and I'm glad as I got a BFN last time! Poor you with your down reggin, that's gone on long enough now! Roll on Monday!!

Hi kel and Jen,
Jen,
I am glad you are feeling more up today, some days it's just all a wee bit too much isn't it? The daily bloods are a right pain for you. So you may have a scan on Monday too! lets hope it goes well for both of us!!!! love Jill x
kel,
I hope the blood tests go well on monday and that the down regging has all gone to plan. I rang my nurse today and said about my concern that my lining would not be thick enough for ET. She said it would be possible to up my drugs if it isn't ok so we will see love Jill x
Hope everyone else is ok, I am going to stay with a dear old friend at the weekend so I hope my mind will have a little break from all this take care all love Jill x

Hi Girls!

JenF - Daily bloods? Wow they are good! Sounds like they are v. on the ball - what clinic are you at if you don't mind me asking? Hope your scan goes great on Monday and you have lots of follies! :D Make sure you get a good rest then this weekend girl! It's a tiring old game - early nights and HORLICKS!!!!
Jill - That is a great plan being away for the weekend, it's hard to switch off from this! Hope you have a really lovely time! I found when I was away last week I had to set my alarm to do my sniffer as I forgot some of the time I was even cycling as I was so busy! But it really helps! Wishing you lots of luck for Monday too - Monday's a big day for us girls!! I'll be thinking of you both...
Have a great weekend! I am having a very chilled one ahhhhhhh!
Hope everyone else is getting on ok too...

Hi Girls

Jill - good luck for Monday sweets!

Kel - when is your scan going to be? I am at the ARGC in London it is manic but they watch you like an eagle!! which I love because I have had 5 -ves and am sick of 'lets give it another go' I just want someone to do something different..........I have abnormally high Natural Killer cell (found out by sending bloods to US for a ridiculously expensive blood test) so they are going to treat me with steriods and IVIG!

Anway scan is tomorrow and more bloods..still on 150 if GonalF....I will drop you a note and let you know how the follies are doing!! fingers crossed!!!!

By the way I don't know about you girls but I am dying for a massive glass of wine!!!.....

Have a good day.......

Hi Girls,

How are things going?

Kel/Jill - stimms next week? Only a couple of weeks to go now. Good Luck!

I'm not sure how the 2ww is going - am bleeding slightly in the mornings so I'm not holding out much hope. I don't think that is supposed to happen but who knows. Also feel like I am having the beginning of period cramps. Until a full on period starts I'll keep hoping. This is only my first attempt and we only had one embrio but you never know. I'll keep you posted. At the moment my test date is the 14th - 11 days to go. I wonder if I should try keeping my legs crossed to see it that helps?!?

I'm in surprising good humour about it all ... a few tears this morning as the bleed seemed to be heavier that previous mornings but once I got that over I felt ok.

Alison - how is your 2ww going?

Take Care,

Pam,

I have had bleeding off and on until 7 weeks with my twin pregnancy. It doesn't mean anything unless you get full on AF. I have also had the cramping as well, so again, not really a sign necessarily.

I wish you and all the others on here all the luck for successful cycles. You all deserve it.

Hi Girls! :D

Pam - Hope you are ok and the bleeding is going away? As Alicia has proved that can be fairly common and by the sounds of other girls on here too. Keeping everything crossed for you!!! Keep up those good spirits, you are doing fab!
Jenf - How did your scan go yesterday?? Hope those folies are coming on great! ARGC sound really on the ball! and YES have been thinking about a glass of rooooouge!!!!   But I have resisted, mainly because this sniffer makes me feel like I've already got a hangover!!!!!
Jill - How was your weekend away?? Hope you had a lovely time! How did your scan go today? Let us know how it's all going!

Had my first blood test this morning. Hopefully I wont hear anything and just be able to go for my baseline scan Wednesday and start those lovely stimms!! But I've got to back to hospital again tomorrow, as I picked up my prescription from hosp today, got home and they forgot to put in more syneral spray which is the only thing I needed today!! Anyway should have enough until tomorrow hopefully.. The fridge is definately looking like a science lab now!!!

Bye for now buddies!

Hi Girls,

Been out of touch yet again because I've been preoccupied with my cat who has been diagnosed with kidney failure. I am devastated as my cat is my baby. I can't really imagine life without him, and when I do, I start crying. All in all, not a great beginning to my 2nd IVF. Doubly worse, just like last time, the sniffing drug makes me depressed and so irritable! It's funny how drugs affect people differently as I hear many girls complaining about the stimm drugs. I felt like I was wrapped in cotton wool emotionally on those, except for the bloating and physical discomfort, I was so fine on those, very relaxed. Isn't it funny? Anyone else felt horrible on the downregg stuff?

good luck to all of you. I've been trying to keep up with everyone as best I can in this state. I too wouldn't worry about a little bleeding/spotting on 2 weeks.

Who tests today? Wishing you loads of luck and best wishes if I'm correct(apparently I'm not doing a great job keeping up-sorry  )

Hi Elizabeth!

Was wondering how you were doing.. Really sorry to hear about your cat - I would feel the same, can't help but feel so attached to our lovely mogs.. Sending you a big hug..
I felt exactly the same as you with the sniffing! I find I'm just relaxing or doing something la la la then BANG! Tears galore - where did that come from???!!! And I agree, once I got onto the stimms last time the side effects went away.. When is your baseline scan?
Good luck,

Hi Buddies,
Just back from my scan, all went well my lining was 8.4mm on day 12 of the tablets which they were happy with (what a relief!!!). So it is EC for my donor and DH sample on Wednesday then ET on friday!!!!
Kel,
I had a really great weekend, such a laugh and spending time with close friends. So you may be on for a base line scan on Wednesday that will great you will know more then how things are going. I hope you had a relaxing weekend and are geared up for the week ahead.x
Jen,
Whats the news how did the scan go? It was a big day for both of us, let me know. I hope you managed to relax over the weekendx
Hi Elizabeth,
We have not spoken yet I just wanted to say hello and I am so sorry to hear about your cat. I was brought up with several cats and know so well how they can effect you when they are ill take care. I had very little
in the way of side effects whilst down regging in fact I wanted more symptoms as I felt and was absolutely right that it wasn't working. They eventually put me on other drugs to bring on another AF. I now have my ET on Friday.x
Pam,
Wondering how you are doing today keep going and take care. Let us know how you are feeling? 10 days to go!!!x
Alicia, thanks for your good wishes to everyone they do help. I hope everything is still going smoothly for you and your two little onesx
Alison how is the wait going? let us knowx
love and best wishes to everyone Jill x
