Mexico was a tonic!!!!!

Post by Traci »

8) :P 8)
Oh my god how chilled was I yesterday after 2 weeks in sunny Mexico . We decided to spend our treatment money on a holiday instead and what a great decition . We stayed at the AVENTURA PALACE RESORT absolutly Fantastic , Optics in your room , Hammock on the Balcony and Jacussi in the room double one at that  , all inclusive ment Champagne every night . Now need a detox!!! and I have put about 5 lbs on , I enjoyed every minuet and my personal trainer will have to work me hard on monday . I got back this morning to find that my 18 year old cat is suffering with Kidney failier and he has spent the last week in the vets on a drip and my next door neibour was going cookoo over it all as she was looking after him . Anyway I came back to a £400 bill and a cat that might not last the week  He is my Baby . Anyway I just thought I would pop in and tell you that I am back safe and sound and will have to spend a couple of days to catch up with all the BFPS and all that is going on .

Hope everyone is ok

Traci,

I'm so glad to hear you had a great time in Mexico. You and DH really deserved it!!

I'm really sorry to hear about your cat. I have two and am very attached to them so I can guess how you must be feeling. Hopefully, he will make it through this. I mean if he's 18 years old, he must be a tough little guy.

We missed you!

Traci,

I'm really sorry about Cooki. At least he held on until you got back from your trip so you could say goodbye to him. Was he your only pet or do you have others? Anyway, I wish I could say something that would make you feel better. I know it's got to be rough.

Hugs,

aaww traci & char, its sooo hard to lose a pet at the best of times - but to have all the things happening in your life and then to lose them is worse.. sometimes the most silliest things could be a trigger point for me where i feel like im losing the plot... i cracked it at my poor dh for putting the toilet role holder crooked in the loo like hello!?! but theres just so much to deal with when u feel like u cant have the most important thing in life...
anyway, i lost my cat pepi on my bday a couple of years ago - i was devastated and i remember going to work and a so called friend laughed coz i was so upset - i could have killed her! losing a pet is like losing your closest friend - my thoughts are with u guys... take a deep breath - you were lucky to have them in your lives... theyre beautiful..
take care

Thanks for all your replies , well yesterday as you can imagine was awfull and I just cried all day on and off , and because we used to trip over him all the time I keep looking on the floor as if he were there , when it came to go to bed I couldnt do it , I suppose I was petrified I would dream about him and the thought of waking up without him sharing my bathroom. anyway I survived and all is ok today , I went into work to show off my tan but instead broke down in tears ! and after getting on with a few jobs I have calmed down . I wont be getting another pet as it is too destressing , I had cooki half my life and he was so loyal .

anyway I am now going to have a lovely weightwatchers dinner and make cards . (sshhh christmas ones )
