well just to let u know the safe arrival of baby Ben 17/9/04 a wapping
9lbs 15oz by emergancy c.section hes is so wonderful i still cant
believe hes here. ((a few tears were shed)
Unfortunately he is suffering very badly from colic and has kept
us awake most nights from 1am till about 6am and what with
all thebuilding work still going on am shattered and on iron tablets
as i lost quite a lot of blood.
Taking Ben to a cranial ostepath trmw for his colic so hoping that
will help, as its breaking my heart to see him in so much pain at night.
Will keep in touch.

many congratulations. you must be thrilled and i am so happy for you all. ben is a big boy, eve is 10.9 at 12 weeks!

congratulations on the birth of baby ben - we are delighted for you and what a weight - all that golf!

Hope the cranial works - try and put him in a feed routine asap - within reason of course - ie structured feeds 7am to 11pm and then his night one and try infacol for a few days - really does work. Alice loves her gripe water too but then I was addicted as a baby - she does not really get what I would call colic as never got that far but awful wind and pulling up of legs etc which has improved no end.

Welcome to Baby Ben and what a whoppa!!!! :shock:

I can recomend Dill Water for colic Joshi suffered a bit in the begining, and the chemist made up the Dill water for me worked a treat, just give at every feed, then I stopped it when he got to 12 weeks and have no problems since.
Good luck and enjoy and try and get some rest.

CONGRATULATIONS! So happy for you and DH and welcome to baby Ben! It was only yesterday we were both waiting for them to arrive and here he is a month old and I have Nadia dn Alexander! What a miracle!
I am really sorry to hear about the colic - I do hope the treatment helps. Will wrote more when there is a moment - the twisn take up all my energy for now!

I.V.F started in 2001. 1st cycle +ve mc nov 2001 at 12 weeks. Fet mar 2002 +ve then -ve.
2nd cycle +ve eptopic oct 2002 6 weeks.
fet mar 2003 -ve. 3rd cycle over stimulated embies frozen. Fet nov 2003 +ve due 11/8/04.

I hardly get on here much these days :shock: , so it's a bit late, BUT CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! :D

A great big welcome to your lovely wee (but not so :o ) bundle of joy! Hope the colic is easing - Sam had it too - and would only fall asleep on dh's chest under his zipped top (good old kangaroo care!) - mind you, he was 7 weeks early so he was small enough to do that!!!!
