Worried sick can't get Alex to eat solids? HELP HELP HELP

Post by bubblymichelle »

Hi Everyone,

How are you all?

Well I am worrying myself sick, Alex just won't eat his solids now, do they all go through this? Its bad enough him not drinking milk but not having solids now as well just worries me sick. He had a yogurt this morning for his breakfast I did do him ready brek and he didn't want it and then I done him weetabix he didn't want that so I gave him a yogurt and he had that. He's drank 5oz of milk today which I am honoured because he doesn't usually drink milk.

Any advice would be appreciated.

In the meantime I have booked him into the doctors because he should be eating more then what he is eating?

Taking to my Mom & Dad's in a bit, Mom usually manages to get him to eat his food, but probably because she says the dog will eat it lol ha ha .

Oh shell,

I can't imagine how you must feel about Alex not eating. My turn will come though! I am sure it isn't anything too serious, probably just because he is teething. I am sure the doctor will put your mind at rest.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi Everyone,

How are you all?

Well Alex only had 2oz of milk today the poor little so, he's got a throat viral infection. The doctor has gave him some paracetemol to help and he's asleep now but he was sweating and been a little sick so will have to see how he is in the morning.

The doctor said that he does need to be kept a close eye on with his weight he said just to be on the safe side.

Di - So come on then how was Amsterdam? I read about Ben crying, I bet he wondered where you went? Did you miss him?

Shellie - Thanks for showing your concerns for Alex, it is such a worry and to be honest I don't think the worry ever stops.

Hi Becky,

Thanks for asking about Alex, he is not any better to be honest been up alot with him in the night, coughing, crying and I think it's his teeth playing him up. He's had a yogurt and half a banana for breakfast wouldn't eat his ready brek.

How are you?

What you got planned this weekend?

How is he today? Must be so worrying - poor little mite. Alice has a really bad cold and Emily has it slightly so have put a pillow under their mattresses to elevate them whilst sleeping so can breathe better - luckily they are not off their food. Emily has 6oz a time and Alice 5-6 - costs a fortune. Have you tried various different foods and then come back? Probably he is not feeling like eating at present as not well so best give him the things he likes and then come back to it later.
Thinking of you

Hi Zoe,

Isn't it just so amazing when they say little words, Alex says Dada too and Mama slightly but not as good as Dada.

Alex was a nightmare in bed last night, put him down at 21:30 he woke at 12:00 and then he must of thought it was playtime he eventually went back off to sleep at 03:00 and then was up at 06:00 and he as had half hour sleep today which is nothing.

How are you Zoe & Sam?

Di - How are you?

Trace - How are you?

Lou - How is You and Kyle & Brodi?
