Jill -  There is no point when we stop worrying is there????!!!!! That's v.nice of you to drive your friends to the airport! I've been lucky enough to do a few gigs in Prague it's a beautiful place, but I'm also with you on the big shop!! I'm finding now that alcohol is out, I really look forward to having nice food!! We just did a huge one to stock up on lots of high protein food for me while on those stimms! Had a roast last night and suddenly feeling all cosy and wintery!!!!! Especially as I've got my hot water bottle at the ready for those follicles!!!
Wishing you so much luck for tomorrow - when will you hear about your embies today? Fingers crossed for you!!

Kel - you are on a roll now..........god we will all be 2ww before we know it!!

Jill- good plan with the massive shop.....think i am going to do the same....might even draught my mum in for a few days!!

Hi Jen and Kel,
well the hospital have just rung, my donor produced 8 eggs which when halved left me with 4 and 2 have fertilised!!! Of course I know now there will be no frosties but my nurse said when useing an Egg Donor this really would have been a bonus. I will ask this generally but what information should I be asking about my embies tomorrow eg how many cells are good etc. My nurse also said about the ET being done useing ultra sound it is a survey they are doing to see if it improves pregnancy rates? Kel, you mentioned useing a hot water bottle do you mean for after ET or before EC? I think I am planning to use soluble 75mg aspirin any thoughts on this? Blimey you think you are planned then suddenly I have a mass of questions! Jen, yes my pessaries are going nowhere near the fridge I am struggling with them as it is.

Love to you both Jill xx

Hello everyone.

Sounds like you are all doing well very nice to hear.

I am not too bad think I have just about got over the disappointment of getting refused for my 1st IVF cycle. It is just a case of waiting which I am sure we are all used to. My next Af should be around the first week in November. So will have to call again to see if accepted 2nd time around.
So not going to be a september/october buddy after all. Will def still want to see how you are all going on so will still be logging on to this thread.

Hi Jill- Good luck for your ET tommorow I will be thinking of you. Then fingers crossed for good news. Take care xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello!

GOOD LUCK JILL!!! X
We'll be thinking of you today!! (You may be back now?) Great news about your 2 embies! They will probably tell you about the grade and how many cells, but some clinics don't because even though a better grade embryo is said to have a better chance of implanting, a lot of the time it's not the case! It would be best to check with your clinic about the 75mg of aspirin - I really wanted to take it this time, but my nurse still said no way as there's no medical evidence yet. It's strange as some clinics are really for it, others are against. I'm just doing as I'm told! There are good reports about taking it though.. Also about the hot water bottle, I am only using it up to EC as the warmth is supposed to help blood flow to the follicles (and helps with the belly ache!). But not to be used after ET, along with no hot baths. Wishing you so much luck!
Jenf - How are you doing? You are getting very close to EC now!!! How are the follies doing? Do you have a date to do your HCG jab yet? Wow the time is flying!!!!!
Christine - So sorry to hear your cycle will be delayed - why have they refused you? That sounds so unfair. Do stay on here on this thread though for a chat - and we'll all be checking up on you when you do start cycling!
Hope everyone else is ok too!

Day 3 of stimms and starting to feel knackered now, I just haven't stopped and I'm running out of energy!! I'm so used to doing tons of exercise normally so I'm zonking out very early!!! But will be a late one tonight as I've got a gig, but it's very local and the adrenylin will kick in later! I'm am going to do sod all for the rest of the weekend though!!!!!

Hope you all have great weekends - lots of rest all round!!!

Hi Girls

Jill - hope you are feeling chilled sweets!! 8)

Kel - I know what you mean about feeling zonked!!!! I got into bed at 3.00 this afternoon and slept for two hours!!!!!!!!! It was not out of choice I felt pants........if I had been at work I would have had to come home!

I think yesterday killed me going into London twice in one day for bloods! They have increased me to 225 of Gonal f tonight but apparently levels can dip toward EC time........

Good luck with the gig......

Look after yourselves girls

Hi buddies,
Just a quick one, it went well yesterday for Et not as bad as I thought. In the end there were 3 embies that had fertilised but they were pretty low grade. Day 3 and they were one 3 cell and two 2 cell. The embryologist said at that stage they should be 2-4 cell so the 2 cells just got in. Has anyone any experience or heard of such low cells working?
Hope you are all well love Jill x

Hi Alison,

Sorry to hear your news. It's really not easy but at least you know that you can get this far and so can try again. Maybe next time you will have better luck.

We don't test until next Thursday but as I have been bleeding a little I think we already know the result but am still taking the drugs just in case. I think once we know for sure a holiday would be lovely. It seems like our total focus for the last year has been on this and I want to just forget about it for a while and get back to being us.

I really hope you can relax and enjoy your hols ... 3 weeks is certainly a good break. I guess we just need to look forward to the next attempt.

Hopefully it will happen next time.

Hi Girls

Alison - so sorry to hear your news.......nothing I can say will make you feel any better........get loads of hugs and start planning what you are going to do next........it gives you something to strive for.

Jill - yeeeeehhh!! Your little embies are safe now......don't worry about the grade etc........there are load of people who have had various grades implanted that are pg.......a friend of ours had a grade 2 and can't remember the other one..........anyway they have 3 year old twins!!! Good luck!!

Pam - good luck for next Thursday!!

Kel - hope the gig did not tire you out!

I did my trigger last night and I am off for EC at 7 tomorrow morning! I am peeing my pants about the whole thing........hope they fertilise and if I make it to the 2ww..........just can't bear the thought of a 6th -ve!!

love

Hello girls,

just back from Amstedam to find every one moving soo fast! And I'm still sniffing away..did get my AF over weekend which is good news.

JenF-All the best for tomorrow, I'm sending you positive vibes your way for some real good fertilisation action. Will be thinking of you.

Allison, I'm very sorry to hear your news. All I can say is that I know how you feel right now-I remember I did alot of crying after my v. early mc and that was for me very therapeutic-I just felt stronger afterwards and ready to try again. We are all different, though and we have our own ways of coping-anyway, you keep hanging in there..

Jill-don't you worry about those embies-mine were considered top grade, or whatever they say, and they didn't hold!!. Yours sound perfectly FINE is what I mean to say, and also that it doesn't really matter about number of cells or anything upon transfer..best of luck to you!!
