Hi Shell

Yes, I think I am now ready for our new addition. We are just waiting for the crib to be delivered on Tuesday and that will be it. I am planning on packing my bag today, baby's bag got packed last week!

I have tried to restrain myself this time round with baby purchases but it is very hard. My two elder children are 12 and 9 so I had not kept anything apart from a silver cross coach built pram that was bought for me 12 years ago. Trouble is though, beautiful as it is it is only useful for transporting baby in the village where we live. I have had to buy a pushchair for when we go out by car! However, previous experience has meant that I have not bothered with a lot of the stuff I bought first time round as I found I just didn't use it in the end. I have just stuck to essentials this time, have gone a bit mad with clothes though!

How is Alex doing now? Has he improved a little with his eating or is he still managing to worry you? I think that the worrying part never ceases. I know I still worry myself sick over Daniel (my eldest) especially with School and how he is doing and whether he is happy etc etc. Oh the joys of being a parent - wonderful all of it really!

I will put another post on tomorrow if I get a date for my c. Section. Until then, take care

Hi Lorraine,

I am glad to hear that your near enough all sorted, the worry never stops your right. Also when you say about not using things and what you class as a waste of money first time round I can also second that. I brought a bottle warmer and never used it or tell a lie once maybe. 2nd he had an activity mat but he never really bothered with that either. It's nice to spend some money on clothes but I found I had favourites for Alex to wear and then when it come round to wearing his other things he had out grown them.

I don't worry so much now with Alex because he is eating more now so that takes the pressure of it all. He is asleep at the minute. I just need to hoover but can't do that yet because if I get the hoover out it will certainly wake him up.

Will keep an eye out for your post to see what your date will be.

Love
Shell.
