Hi Everyone,

I feel rather guilty about not staying in touch. It has been really difficult-at work I'm so busy and I'm really not supposed to be writing at work anyway! Athome, my hubby hogs the computer because he is writing a book-he is a lecturer at the uni. So, please forgive me!, but know that every chance I get I'm reading your posts and wishing us all BFPs.

Jill-you are doing so well-I'm impressed with your will power.

Kel-Hope you are beginning to feel a bit better. It is like being battered about isn't it? Plus there is an emotional element to it-I did feel a bit invaded, even if it was for my best self interest if you know what I mean.

Jen-I'll be righ tthere bloated with you soon, I'm on my 4th day of stimming. I do feel better though, much less depressed and more energetic, actually then just with the sniffing alone. Still not looking forward to the inevitable bloat!

Debra-So nice to hear from you! I'm glad you are here. I think of your presence here as a real positive influense, like a 'good fairy angel'..sorry that sounds so corny, and it is, but it kinda captures the feeling of people together and what they bring to our little virtual community here.

I know I have left people out-sorry about that but I'm reading your posts as often as I can and wishing us all lots and lots of luck.

Hugs,
Elizabeth

Hiya Buddies!!

Thanks so much for all your love good luck messages! You lot are fab!! I was being a good girl yesterday and went straight to bed! Well we are really chuffed, got 2 top graders put back yesterday a 5 cell and a 3 cell, and lucky enough to get 5 frozen too! Can't belive it!! Also, madly enough not only did they find a further cheeky egg, but when we got there, we got another embryo!!!! So, because it fertilised later than the others they are checking it's progress today to see if it's good enough to freeze. I've been pretty uncomfortable and not sleeping very well but I guess that's going to happen! So I can join you lovelies on your 2ww now, but you're nearly at the end of yours!!!!!!!
Jenf - Bloated tummy is a really good sign!! Hope you are doing ok? you're nearly there now!! Are you just relxing and stuff or being normal now? (However normal you can be that is!!!  )
Jill - OMG 1 MORE DAY!!!!!!!!! How are you doing?? Your symptoms sound really good, so true what Jen said! I hope today goes quickly for you, we'll keep checkin up on you!!
Staci,Debra+Christine - Thanks for your messages! Lovely to hear from you! Staci I hope everything's calmed down in Florida now?? Hope you are ok!
Pam - Thanks for the positive vibes - hope you are doing ok?
Julie - Good luck for Saturday!
Longbaygirl - Welcome! Good luck with everything... The Gonal-F injector Pens are actually really easy to use, you don't feel them go in at all. I found the best way for me was to quickly push down like a dart..

Bye for now!!

Thanks Kel,

Where do you get the 'pens' from? My hospital does not supply them.

Thanks

Hi Everyone,

Kel...way to go! What else are they going to find next...extra eggs, extra embroys...unbelievable! You're on a lucky streak, stay there! I can only wish you a very speedy 2WW but we all know how incredibly slow it will be. My only suggestion is to do something at the same time that you want to last a long time, like rereading your very favourite book...does that make sense?? Will you be working at all? I'm guessing NZ was a no-no?

Jill - counting down the hours and crossing my fingers. BFP for you, I think!

Jen - you know how weird this whole thing is. No symptoms either way is par for the course. I LOL at your 'no shagging symptoms' comment, could have been read SO much another way!!

Elizabeth, your lovely words made me cry. I'm obviously still an emotional whatsit! Thank you.

Joy - you'll probably get them from the same place you get the drugs. I used Puregon and that has an auto-pen (and pretty darn wonderful if was too). The box of drugs came with a supply of needles too. You could also contact a large Boots and ask their pharmacy if they sell/distribute them.

Good luck to everyone,
love
Debra.

Hello everybody

I discovered this site on Sunday 17/10/04 and have been reading the message board eveyday since. It's given me inspiration, hope, courage and that sense of not being alone.

Have finally plucked up the courage to post ( I know it's daft but it's quite hard making that first contact when you've all been in touch with each other for so long already.) So if it's OK with you lot I'd really like to join the Sept/ Oct buddies.

We are on our first cycle of IVF and had my ET on Friday 15th October so am now on the dreaded 2ww.

I started feeling AF symptoms on the day after ET !!!!! The usual pains in the usual places and my bbs started hurting and I've been like that ever since. Plus I'm really bloated and have got such bad wind in even puts my DF to shame ( I'm quite proud of that bit actually !!! )

So I'd just like to say a BIG HELLO and GOOD LUCK to eveyone !!!!!

Hi Jill

Don't give up yet. If your AF is only light, it could very well be implantation bleeding, which I've heard a lot about, and the AF pains can also be due to implantation. Wait until you test before you despair too much. I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

Jill - I so agree with Jools, I've heard so many people experience the same thing before they test.. Sending you a massive hug and we're all really hoping and praying for you tomorrow..xx

Joy - My Gonal-F came in pre-filled injector pens from my hospital, so you just bang them in and press a button!! (well something like that!! ) If you have to put them in syringes, can you use an auto-injector? I used that last time as I had a diff stimming drug so you mix up the meds, then put the syringe into the auto-injector so you don;t have to see the needle. Ask your hospital if you would prefer to do that than see the needle..

Kim - Welcome to the MADHOUSE! There are some weird pains to follow all we've been through, a lot of blame tends to go on those lovely pessaries!! Your comments made me laugh, oh how we give up our dignity hey!!!! Glad you can join us and we can go barmy together on our 2ww!

And love to all buddies! I really must lay down for more than 5 minutes and enjoy the shite TV! There's NOTHING ON!!! And we've got sky so what's going on??? Right must stop wittering and rest rest rest!

Bye!

Hi Girls

God I am sleeping or something........just missed loads of posts!!

Jill - come on you......I know when you see the bleeding it is hard to find any shred of positivity but there are definately success stories on this board of girls that have had what they though was full on af and they turned out to be pg!!!! As the girls said it could be implantation bleeding........come on you, you have done so well..........hold onto that hope for a bit longer....I know it is hard sweets.xx

Kel - I hope you are resting up!!

I have just been for a sleep............I am so tired I could die.........I spend all night getting up to pee (I am still drinking 4 litres of water and 1/2 litre of milk) and the rest of the time I am stressing out of my tiny mind about this 2ww crap..........it is exhausting me!!.............and what I wouldn't give for a massive glass of Rioja!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

moan moan moan!! I want it to be Monday...........!

Love

JenF - Your 6th 2ww !!!! Blimey !

Kel - I think going barmey together sounds like the obvious route to take over the next couple of weeks.
