Hi Trace,

I thought it would be a good idea and so glad that Marcus done it for me, so now we can all share our stories our worries our delights. I know what you mean about getting on here I do manage more time on here now, but also scary because Alex is growing up and I never want him to. He says mama now and its so touching, can't believe he will be 9 months soon.

Love
Shell.

oh gosh .... dont know if you remember me - have not posted since i left work on maternity leave last december and am so sorry. Shell and Tracey S and OGR feel so bad for not staying in touch you have all been so brilliant to me. To hear you news about your two girls trace has made my year let alone my day!!!!! Our little one, born March 28th is also Alice and is a constant joy - we made it kiddo after all!!!! Dont have a computer at home and left work a bit sudden as my husband was ill but is fine now. Have thought about you all more times than i can say - please forgive me for just ducking out like that but it was a difficult time.

Third time ICSI for us worked and I still thank God that we were so lucky. Breaks my heart to think that not everyone who tries so hard and wants so much to have a family can get there,

Am back at work on November 1st and looking forward to it but cant imagine how i'll breath without Alice at my side I'll really miss her!

I'll stop jabbering on now - just the BIGGEST HUGS to anyone who remembers me and thank you for all your help - couldnt have got here without you girls. Hope you're all still the same - Tracey just as mad as a badger, Becky (OGR) just as wonderful with words and inspirational, and Shell just as sweet and caring about everyone.

lots and lots of love - Jo L.xx

Hello stranger!

Welcome back - you had us worried with the sudden disappearance and it's good to see you back. I know that Tracey will be thrilled to hear that you're around. She's hugely busy with Alice and Emily (don't know why!) and so no longer spends every waking minute on here but she still pops in.

Your Alice sounds like a little darling and I know how you feel about going back to work but it does get easier. I'm sorry to hear about your husband but glad to hear that he's OK now.

I'm back!!!

Post by SallyP »

Well girls I'm back! I'm so sorry I've not been able to post, but I have recently returned to work after mat leave and as I don't have a computer at home have not been able to access until I returned to work.

Wow the site has improved a bit since I logged off back in December! Groovy little faces  and a snazzy new way of posting (very 21st century).

I was so pleased to see all the old chicks - Shell - Am so pleased to see you're still here - Alex sounds gorgeous, and you are such a top job girl in getting this bit on the site! Tracey - f*****g hell - twins - am so so so pleased for you! Jo, Jules, Wibbs - in one way it feels like I've never been away, and that the 2ww when I first discovered this board was like last week instead of 18 months ago, but it makes you think what everyone has been through in that time, both good and bad.

Quick update from me - I'm now mummy to Jay - born 27th January and weighing 6.10oz. . I can't believe he's nearly 9 months old! I'm back at work 4 days which was so difficult to adjust to at first, but Jay absolutely loves nursery and all the girls there adore him (they've confided that he is a favourite even though they're not supposed to have them!), so I don't feel too bad about leaving him. He's full of smiles when I drop him off so I really do think that he enjoys himself there.

Anyway - I need full updates from everyone please as I've got a lot of catching up to do! Will bob on as often as I can!

Love to all, Sally xxxxx[/img]

Ooooooh nasty jabs! I gave Jay 2.5ml of Calpol before his, but he was fine apart from a slight temp. You just feel so cruel when they get stabbed it's heartbreaking. 5 in 1 sounds like a lot doesn't it? Hopefully the girls will be brave little ladies.

Am so pleased to be back on the board - it's just like the 2WW with most of us back on - only much much different now we have different things to worry about!

As you may be aware I am not very technologically advanced so will try to incl a pic of Jay but probably won't be able to work it out. Hang on ......
Nope - can't figure it out. Bugger - how do you insert a pic?

Becky - I was really touched to read your post - it must be quite a bittersweet thing to become a grandma. I remember that I absolutely adored my Grandma and spoke to her most days until she died last year (I'm 37), and I did quite prefer her to my mum (I know it's horrid to say but we understood each other really well and she was always kind, patient and there for me in a way my mum wasn't), so I just wanted to say that Grandma's aren't second best, sometimes they are the best but for different ways (No-one spoils you like your Grandma!).

Jo - don't worry too much about going back to work. Just accept that for the first couple of weeks you will be really emotional, feel like you can't cope and won't stop worrying about Alice (and phoning whoever's looking after her and interrogating them ten times a day), but after a couple of weeks it gets better. Are you going back full time?
love to all,
