Hi there Tee, sorry it's taken a while to reply - having trouble with my computer! Just had my second injection and yes, I looked at the box and it is Zolodex - is that what you had/are having? We have been advised to go down the IVF route if endo. shrinks but I'm wondering whether to try again naturally or not, maybe I'm just kidding myself, I don't know. I wish I could see my insides so that I understand exactly what's going on in there.Hope all is well with you, Sara xxxx

Sara,<br>I had Zolodex for 3 months last year after an op as a preparation for IVF. (I also had it in 1998 for 3 months to get me through my wedding and honeymoon). Once you've had a zoladex injection, the IVF injections are a doddle.<br>They wouldn't do the IVF until my insides were cleared out. I would very strongly advise you not to waste any time trying naturally but go straight into IVF as soon as you can. We wasted 3 years trying naturally, and I really really wish someone had given me this advice. My doc at the time just said IVF is impossibly hard to go through, and would be a real struggle so we should try naturally first. To be honest with you it's the IVF failures after years wasted which is the struggle. I can't tell you how difficult it is to live with those regrets. No-one ever told me that I couldn't conceive naturally, but 4 years on and I can't even conceive with IVF.<br>Be brave and go for it. And think to yourself that leading up to the iVf, and between cycles you can go for it like rabbits!<br>Love Tee xxx

Tee, thanks so much for the brave, honest advice. My dh thanks you too and we both think you are absolutely right. Reading this site (which I do most days) never fails to leave me feeling so proud to be female - I really think women are just the greatest (I know our guys are great too, but you know what I mean). We go through so much and thank God we can talk about it and share our feelings. Scan for endo again in Oct, hopefully it will be reducing and we can think about ivf in New Year.Bye for now, Sara xxx (ps. tried unsuccessfully for a few days now to get this message to you - blasted computer!!)
