Hi Buddies

Well, still no sign from AF, the one time i really want her to visit.........................and shes not complying. I rang my clinic in the end, and they said not to worry - and I have til sunday before I have to reschedule my Monday morning scan. I'm trying not to think about it, as we all know that stressing about things invariably tends to hold them off. But its difficult...I just want it to arrive........ :x :x

Debbie - So sorry to hear your news. I have only come back on since yesterday morning, otherwise I would have posted sooner. I know I can't say anything that will help, but I am thinking of you. You are already talking about the next time tho, so that must be a good sign...................bigs hugs and kisses, take it easy. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Sophie - oh poor poor you, you sound dead low!!!! Being ill is never easy, but at a time like this it must be awful. Give your DH a kick up the bum and tell him to look after you...........tuck youself up in bed with some good movies, a good book, and some chocolate.......that always makes me feel better anyway (are you allowed to eat choc?)!! get well kisses coming your way XXXXXXXXX

Tricia - good luck for your EC, thats great news on your fertilised eggs. Lets hope you get a few frosties too!! :) Hope it all goes well, you'll be on the 2ww soon....................................... PMA PMA XXX

Julie - I hope it comes soon too, I really wanna continue cycling together. It would be really good if we were on the 2ww together and could support each other - tho the rest of you girls are fabulous no matter what stage you are at!

Anyone Ive missed Sorry!! Im on at work and this is already too long!! agghhh better get back to the grindstone, my boss is already on my back today (not long to go til I leave tho!! yay!!!)! Try to catch up later today

Love and kisses to you all

Hi All - I hope that we are all ok and looking forward to fireworks night?

Sophie-Jane, I hope that your EC went ok today and that you are feeling better and DH is looking after you. Toni is right - chocolate is good (although I think we have to be careful with amounts of caffeine?!!).

Toni - fingers crossed for AFs arrival - I know it is easier said than done but try not to stress, have a restful weekend look after yourself. As you say everyone on here is amazing but it would be nice to test similar days and go through the most dreaded part (the 2ww) at the same time

Tricia - hope your ET went ok - look after yourself and you know where we are once the 2ww begins (which I guess is probably now?!!)

New rules - never apologies for moaning - if you can't moan to us who can you :?: :D

Feeling ok (ish) myself - apart from the fact that I am sure everyother women at work is pregnant :!: :!: The tierdness is gone now - just can not stop eating - already put on about 4llbs Just want to be normal and get pregnant like everyone else - is that too much to ask for :?:

Scan on tuesday - so hopefully start injecting thursday - if all goes to plan EC should be 23rd Nov

Hope everyone else is ok have a good weekend

Hi Londongel,
I had 3 embies put back ALL poor quality 1 x 3 cell and 2 x 2 cells, and I got a positive result, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Try to relax and we all wish you so much luck, rest, rest, rest love Jill x

Hi Tricia

You know what they say.... where there's a will, there's a way! As Jill said, there's no rhyme or reason, so keep everything crossed, try to relax, and treasure the feeling of those precious embies inside you! These next 2 weeks will take forever, so keep posting to keep us updated, and keep positive. Vent your feelings on this board so that you don't bottle anything up, and hopefully it will help time to pass quicker. Lots of PMA for a +ive result!

Lots of love, luck and babydust! Jools xx

Hey everyone,
Debbie, I'm really sorry to hear about your -ve this time. It's good that you're thinking towards next time again - when can you go again?

Tricia, just keep positive and keep them as warm and safe as you can, if they are meant to make it, they will - I really believe that. You've done so well to get this far.

Looks like EC will be Wed or Thurs for me - I'm excited but terrified. I just wish I could sleep for the next 2 weeks and wake up knowing one way or the other if it's worked.

Another b/t and u/s tomorrow morning - interrupting my Sunday lie in! But at least I've got 3 days off work next week, even if I'd rather be doing something more fun than having an operation and then lying on the couch for 3 days....

Take care all,
Jaye

Debbie,
So sorry about your -ive. What an absolute bummer so bigs hugs to you and dh. How are you feeling? After my -ives I went and got drunk. Not a great thing to do but it worked for me.

I am now on my 2ww (day 1). Just come back from the hospital. I've still got a very sore tummy from ec on Friday. I had to take loads of painkillers and i bled a bit. I also still feel very sick and yuk but excited to be at this stage.
We were so lucky ... we had 13 eggs, 10 fertilised and 7 were grade 1 and 2. So 2 were put back in my tummy and 5 to be frozen. I am really pleased so for all my stressing about having less follicles it didn't matter.

But then saying that Tricia I have had 2 goes with Grade 1-2 embryos and they didn't stick around. I have heard lots of stories of girls on here getting pregnant with lower grade embryos.

i have heard of loads of people getting pregnant on grade 3/4 embryos.

So here's to our 2ww. I've got the next 2 days off work so will be chilling. Me and dh just about to go fo sunday pub meal. my consultant told me not to have bed rest for 3 days but to act normal.

Good luck to the rest of you, and hopefully you'll be joining us on the 2ww soon.

Hi everyone

Debbie, I was so sorry to hear your news. Hang in there.

Sophie & Tricia, Fingers crossed for you in your 2ww - not too long now.
I agree with Jaye about sleeping through the 2 weeks - wish we could.
Tricia, Hope your tummy bug goes soon.
Sophie, Know what you mean about the heavy/sore ovaries. Had that last time but only really the last couple of days before EC so hopefully won't be any worse this time.

Jaye, Hope all goes well for your EC

I finally started stimms on Thursday much to my relief, so am trying to take it a bit easier than usual. Not doing very well with early nights, must try harder :) Not doing anything exciting, just keep getting sucked into really crap telly. This week's going to be pretty disrupted with appts every couple of days for u/s & b/ts but I'm so glad to feel like I'm getting somewhere now.

Best of luck to everyone, Anna xxx

Hi All,

Been away, again, but trying to keep up with reading the postings.

Scan revealed about 9 follies, but not all big enough to call mature, hoping to get between 6 - 8 at EC on Wednesday. Down for a five-day transfer of blastocysts or morulas next Monday. Just hope enough fertilise (DH has boarderline low sperm count), and survive 5 days in a test tube.............

I am a bit dissapointed at the low number, I think my stimming was very conservative and I could have done with a higher dose of Gonal f, but doctor thinks 6 - 8 is OK in a woman "of my age" - great, makes me feel about a hundred years old (I'm 41). Like some others - I have 'unexplained secondary infertility' which is a pain because no one knows what to do for the best. Anyway, enough of my moaning.

Jaye - I am down for EC on Wednesday too, lets compare notes!

Babydust all round

Hi Everyone

Just to quick note (at work as usual)

Toni - I am pleased your AF has arrived. Yes my scan is tommorrow (9.15am) and fingers crossed I will then start injecting on thursday. I am hoping that they will show me that tomorrow as I will find it tricky to get there thursday

I hope that Tricia and Sophie-Jane that you are both ok today and feeling better, I will have everything crossed for you - when do you test :?:

On previous months threads I have noticed that they keep a list of test days - should we do that to keep up to date :?:

Good luck for EC this week to Jaye and Joy
