Hey - just logged on for the 1st time in a while and found this new board. Great idea as I have been wondering how all of the oldies have been getting on with their little ones. How is it going for you all? How are all of your little ones?
Max is 23 mths now so just organising a party for his 2nd birthday. I can't believe that he is almost 2 and I still can't believe how lucky we have been. Max is just full of energy. Keeping us very busy but great great fun. I can't imagine life without him. He is a really happy boy, which is brilliant.
I still keep in touch with Miriam and she and Joseph are doing really well.
We might be jumping on the old IVF bandwagon again soon. I was actually lucky enough to have a miracle natural pregnancy at the start of 2004 (having tried for 4.5 yrs before with no success and unexplained infetility), but unfortunately it ended in a m/c. We've just moved house and are in a state of chaos at the moment, but if nothing has happened by the New Yr, we will probably give it another go. The prospect of going down that road again doesn't appeal to me, but I really don't want Max to be an only child, so we would do it again for that reason.
It would be great to hear from you if any of you are still logging on. Hopefully this message board won't be so busy, so the thread won't be lost too quickly. If you are like me, the opportunities to log on are few and far between these days.
I still think of everyone a lot and remember those days when this site was my life-line - and the mad chats!
hi ya dee......yes we use to chat on the old thread i was the girl who was going to start tmt in may !
i still keep in contact with jilly and kay ( she didnt post that often though)
i now have jack who is 15mths old and is a right cracker !!
im now on my tmt for a fet cycle and the deed will be done next wk .... this road brings so many memories back.
I don't get on to the site much now but it is great to hear how everyone is getting on. Rebecca and Ross are now almost 2 and a half and I am still the happiest mummy around....it is a walking talking toddler fest every day...and I wouldn't have it any other way.
It feels like so long ago that they were babies let alone when I was pg. Great idea for a new board and look forward to catching up with some oldies but goldies!!!
Take care
Nicky
Only time I feel like a spring chicken compared to you lot!
Emily and Alice are 11 weeks old now and a delight if not full of cold on Alice's part but have been on the board a good couple of years so now newbie!
Suprised Jules has not found this yet - will wait and see how long it takes!
Nicky - great to hear from you and Jules tells me work is better these days and not so hectic! Becky and dee glad all ok with you and your special babies.
Love

I can't get on here as often as I like (limited access at work and Pc at home is knackered) but it would be lovely to catch up and I will try and get on more often.

Me 37 DH -39, 5 Egg-share cycles, 5th Worked, now have a beautiful son Ronnie born 25th January 2003.
I had trouble getting onto the site these last few months so it's good to see some of the oldies.
Katie Louise is now 8 weeks old, she came into the world 25th August 2004 at 2.04am and weighed 7lb 61/2oz. Motherhood is so good and I still can't believe she belongs to us.
I keep in touch with JD and Daniel will be two on 7th December. We speak alot but have yet to meet up face to face and it's only been four years since we logged on lol.
I'm so thrilled to hear your news. Congratulations on the safe arrival of Katie Louise, I can imagine how besotted you must be.
Dan was one last month and is great fun now that he's walking and dancing , but I do still kind of miss those tiny baby days that you're at now.
I hope you enjoy every minute of it, you waited long enough and so deserve your precious bundle.
Wishing you all well.

It's fab to hear about the safe arrival of Katie Louise and how much you're enjoying her. Make the most of this stage 'cos it goes much too quickly!

Hiya..another oldie here, amelia and jacob are just over 13 months and are all over the place, I have started college part- time and have just joined a gym, any spare time is spent sleeping. I do pop on here and have a look to see how everyone is, and speak/text to Sarah30 everynow and then. pleased to see so many of you still around.
Beck, was thinking about you the other day, how is it going???
hey mags im always thinking of you too.........maybe u me and sarah should meet up and have a girls night away !!
sadly my fet didnt work the eggs didnt survive the thaw..so maybe next yr we will try..as dh is happy with just jack and its true what he said we are lucky to have this gift !!
i hope all of the mums are having fun..jack is a proper toddler now hes now 15mths and now runs and everything is a car or doggie woofwoof.
he did make me laugh the other day he has a thing about looking in my fridge and whilst i was watching tv he brought out a joint of lamb yuck it was raw.
Beck..Sorry to hear about the fet, I still feel very lucky every day when I look at mine. We have a dog (Bob) and Amelia loves his toys more than hers, so I have to ban them from the lounge after I found her sucking his bone toy?!?!? Well I hear germs are good for kids.
What a great idea for a night away, I am up for that!! We will have to pitch it to Sarah.
