HEAVY PERIODS

hiya everyone , ive been ttc for about 6 years now and ever since i can remember ive been having heavy periods and also ive got a short cycle [23days] but what bothers me is that ever period i have clots ? ive asked friends and work colleges if this is normal for them but no-one ive spoke to suffers with this . so if anyone can help me understand this alittle better i would begrateful thanks RUTH r

I have pretty normal AFs in terms of length (roughly 28 days), and they're not really that heavy, but I do suffer from terrible cramps and clots. I've never really discussed the clots that I have with anyone professionally (and nobody has asked me), so I don't really know if they are the norm, or a bit over the top ... ? ... but, I would think a bit over the top - if I was to make a stab.

When I went to my doctor about the cramps (when I was about 14, some 20 years ago), she basically told me not to be so soft. I didn't go back to see her again ! ... I'm sorry - I don't really have any info or insight into clotting, but I would say to ask and persist with your gp/hospital, and try to get some meaningful info/answers.
