I am 5 weeks pregnant and ever since implantation I have had pains in my lower tummy - its like an acheing / throbbing type pain.... very low down around pubic bone region .... I've had it for over a week now. It sometimes comes and goes but today its been there all day.
Did any of you experience this? Is this normal? I have all other pg signs ... sore boobs, dizzyness, faint a bit of nausea and I am absolutely shattered.
I'm worried in case it is a urine infection or something worse. Can anyone help??

I get the same thing sometimes, but I don't think I had it that early. It's mostly when I sit for an extended period of time or drive and then I feel it when I get up and start walking. My ob said it's probably because of all of the increased blood flow to the uterine area, and that the baby or the way I was sitting wasn't allowing it to circulate as fast as it needed to so the blood was pooling in that location.
Give your clinic a call, maybe they can ease your worries.
I ahve to laugh a bit because I have the reverse problem-I'm worried becaus eI'm not having pains anymore! apart from feeling very tired and sore-ish boobs, I feel fine. I'm thinking that I'll go buy a hpt to see if I still am, though deep down inside I know I'm just being silly. I don;t/didn't have the kind of aching feeling you have, though I've had loads of cramp like pains and even some quite sharp twinges that scared me for a bit. So I'm sorry I can't help, though what Paige says makes sense to me. Give your clinic a call and see what they think..I'm sure you are just fine though..
i had really bad pains in the lower abdominal/pelvis area when 1st pregnant. it was so painful, like period pains. i was told it was normal and caused by changes in the pevis and cervix needed to support the growing pregnancy. it does pass.
check with your clinic though to really put your mind at rest.
I had some AF like cramps early on, and also bleeding up to 7 weeks! I was sure it was all over each time it happened. But I've made it to 16 weeks so far with the twins, so try not to worry. Please don't feel embarrassed to call the clinic either. You may get an early ultrasound out of it, which should help you feel calmer.
