This isn't Lorraine, but the DH instead.
Amelia was born yesterday weighing in at 5lbs 6.5oz. She is incredibly beautiful - just like her mum.
And no, I'm not at all biased. Amelia's not been well since though. She hasn't fed very much at all and this afternoon was taken into the SCBU after she stopped breathing for a second or so in the arms of a midwife.
She's on antibiotics for a suspected Streptococcus infection. Nursing staff aren't treating it that seriously, she's mainly in the SCBU for monitoring and administering the antibiotics.
Lorraine and I can visit anytime and have a cuddle whenever we want - she's not on any support.
Still, Lorraine's tired and would far rather Amelia were with her - a bit more stress she can do without.
Apart from that, Lorraine's doing OK - sore and tired, but recovering well. Possibly better than when she had her laparoscopy if memory serves.
Anyway, that's about all for now.
