Hi Everyone ...... I'm new

Post by sarah_72 »

I've being reading your messages for the last few days, as I get ready for my first go at IVF. We have an appointment on Friday to discuss our Treatment plan and stuff. I am really nervous, but then I suppose evryone is.

A little question if you can help, if you are paying privatly for your treatment, is it best to get the drugs from the clinic, or from a chemist or on line. I don't know anyone who has done this before.

Hope you are all feeling OK at the moment.

Thanks very much

sarahx

Hi Sarah

I too am awaiting my first appointment to begin IVF and also have to fund the whole lot privately. My doctor says that it is impossible in our area to get any assistance with costs whatsoever.

I'm going to use the hospital to get my drugs, they have a home delivery service that we can use and their prices seem OK. If it ever transpired that the drugs were faulty in any way then at least the hospital would take responsibility (I hope?)

Hope you get to start your treatment very soon.

Kathy
x
