Anyone else had a similar situation, they were day accurate at 19 but blew away in the twenties.........docs are foxed......years later still foxed........I want to know why......any idea in who I can turn to to find out......? ps have had 6 ivfs,,,,,,,,lovely embryos,,,,,no luck embedding......still need answers
Hi Anita

I'm not sure about the periods, I know mine changed around that age - more pain, heavier etc but didn't disappear. Has anyone suggested analysing the embros for you? I'm not sure what it is called but there is a fairly new technique they use which analyses the embryo to tell whether it has antibodies (or something) which will stop it embedding. I think this is quite expensive and may give you a result you don't want but it will give you an idea as to whether or not to keep spending money on ivf or not. Speak to your consultant about it. I mentioned it to mine recently and he said he wasn't keen at this stage (one failed ICSI) and to wait until after next cycle or 2 before considering it. There aren't many clinics yet who do it but I am sure your clinic will know.

Good luck
Sandra
