Guess who's got his 2 front teeth for Christmas!

Post by SallyP »

Well they've arrived!!!! Jay is now sporting 2 bottom teeth! They're just over the gum line and really white and sharp.... and surprisingly big from what I can gather from the occasional glances I am allowed! I think he's waiting for them to grow up a bit more before unveiling them properly.

I can't wait for Jay's first Christmas and keep filling up with tears of joy every time I think of him, of angels, carols or anything really! We are so blessed!

I also can't believe that he'll be 1 on the 27th January - this time last year he was still 'inside', and now he's nearly one!

I'm finishing work for Christmas tomorrow, so won't be on the board until the new year, so I just wanted to wish everyone and their babies a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful, healthy, happy, prosperous and peaceful new year, and also to send Christmas love to all my friends on this board
love and light to you all,
love Sally xxx

Hi Sally - know what you mean about checking for those teeth!! Alice just will not let you look, you have to catch a glimpse when she laughs - which fortunately is all the time!!

She has little white dots along her bottom gum - I'll be glad when her teeth are through but there's nothing so cute as that gummy smile is there?!!

Lots of Love for Christmas - how lucky are we? Jo. xxxxx

Hi Jo and Sally. I'm in the waiting for new teeth club too. Maya has 14 now and I can't wait for the last 6. Two canines came through a week ago and I can see some HUGE back molars waiting. They are very white and quite scary looking. Maya's teething has taken for ever and we've had an awful lot of sleepless nights. Thank God for Calpol. She'll now lead me from her room, into the kitchen and point at the Calpol cupboard. How smart is that???

You'll see from my other post, I'm right there in the teary, grateful and beaming with happiness department.

Debra.

Hi Sally

I really do feel like I have neglected everyone with my pc having a virus, poor Alex is so poorly with his teeth I am using Bonjela and also Calgel and he's still crying and red in the cheeks, he is cutting them all together, he has 6 now. How is Jay? How are you? Is work ok?

Sorry not been around.
happy new year.
Love

Hi girls,

Sorry, have not posted for ages as been busy in work, trying to cram in everything so I can get home as soon as poss to see Jay.

Jay's brilliant - he started crawling over Christmas (finally!) and now there's no stopping him - I have developed eyes in my bum as a result. The thing is that no toys interest him - the cat, TV, fire, wires and anything he's not supposed to have are now enticing magnets to his little hands so I'm in the process of baby-proofing the house! He now has 2 teeth (bottom) so looks so gorgeous when he smiles. He still loves nursery and seeing people in any situation (Asda, shops, library) and desperately tries to get eye contact with strangers so he can smile at them! So cute! He keeps waking at night with sore gums so I feel so sorry for him - must be getting more peggies.

Shell - I bet you've been going mad with a PC virus and being off the board haven't you! Poor Alex - I have tried a combination of 5mls Neurofen and a homeopathic powder you can get from Boots called 'Teetha'. it must work because Jay gets really excited when he sees the Teetha sachet and opens his mouth ready!

Louise, like Brodi and Kye, jay will be 1 on 27th January - we're having a little party on the Saturday for him - hope your 2 are fit and well by then!

Shell, i know Alex's birthday is just around the corner too - can you believe it? I still can't believe a) how lucky I am, b) how gorgeous he is and c) that a whole year has passed! It was today last year that I was admitted to hosp for 3 weeks - I really can't believe this year has gone so fast.

Are you back at work? How's it going? How are you coping? It will get better, believe me.

Hi Sally

I have been so gutted not having a pc my brother in law has looked at it and it looks like i have to have a new tower. I am on my sister's pc at the minute so I could just check what was going on the boards. I am now back at work and seem to be getting myself into a routine I only work 3 days a week so it isn't so bad.

I will have to keep it short until I am back on my own pc.#

Love
Shell.
