What now?

Post by Thistle »

Hi,

I am new to this and it is making my hands shake typing! My story is far to long to start, so I will sumarise the past eight years in a word "babyless".

After 3 failed ivf attempts, only one tube and ovary, cysts, adhesions, endometriosis, an auto-immune condition and a burst appendix at 13 why did I think I had a chance?

Hysterectomy is my next move and at only 32 I can't get my head round it.

What now? All ideas would be gratefully recieved.

Hi Thistle,
I am so sorry to hear about all you have gone through. Like Becky I have no advice as such but do please keep writing here it has given me so much support and help just being able to chat and vent my feelings to people who truly do understand. I am six years down the line and "babyless" and I am now moving onto adoption.
Take care love Jill x

Thank you org1 and Jill.

It is very hard for me to talk about anything with the word baby in the sentance. My little sister (10 years yonger) is due this june and I so want my mum to do the granny bit, without the feelings of pity for me.

I will be keeping in touch and some time soon I will try and write it all down.

Take care

just wanted to add my 2 cents and to for warn you

that you are going to have a bunch of different feelings about your mom and sister. and it is ok and very normal ...

alot of use have gone threw this and have beat ourselves up over it...

i am very sad that i cant give birth but that i am going to be a grandmother..
i am very happy thou that i am going to be a grandmother..

and i am truly doing ok..
i think that it is important to let yourself have the feelings..
it is never good to hold them in.. that is what i have learned ..

it is important to always take care of yourself and that we are all great women :!: :!:
