Hi Guys

Post by Zed2003 »

Hello there!

Finally getting a chance to catch up and wish you all a Merry Christmas! (although if I'd waiited until tomorrow, it'd have been 'New Year'. LOL

We all had a lovely first Christmas together and as it's Sam's birthday early Feb. I've instructed one and all NO TOYS as out house is like a toyshop...I think everyone tried to outdo each other on who could get the biggest box and the noisiest toy.

Our house permanently looks like a bomb has hit it, and you know what? It's brilliant - many a day we've waited for a mess like this :D :D

To top it all, we had a white Christmas. I tell you all, I was in heaven...

Anyway, hope you all had a good time. May the New Year bring new dreams come true - I don't feel much like celebrating with a bang with all the horror in Asia at the moment, but am even more grateful for what I have.

Take care all

Hey Zoe, I agree this was the Christmas many of us had waited a very long time for.

Have a wonderful New Year. It seems wrong some how to be happy at a time of such enormous sadness but Sam won't understand that yet.

Happy New Year.
hugs
Debra.

HI Zoe,
Happy new year! Did you celebrate a little - we were very quiet but happy - what with the disaster in Asia and our own tiredness - but as you say it makes me even more appreciate what I have with my two little precious children, who are 3 months 10 days now. I am so grateful for them, I wonder at the miracle of having them!
wish you, Sam and Dh many more happy moments and a great birthday in february!
love,
juliana

Hi Debra and Juliana

Thank you for your good wishes - A very Happy New Year to you both too..! :D

To answer your question Juliana - we didn't really do much - our neighbours were round - but I was stuffed with the cold big time, so I drank about 12 home-made honey and lemons!!! LOL. Like you, I'm still amazed when I look at Sam and can't believe he is ours - and that's 11 months on (wow, 11 months tomorrow! :o ) - I don't think I'll ever take him for granted.

I'm back to work on Thursday and have been in a shocking mood today - poor dh :( . Come on that lottery win...

Take care both
Zoe & Sam xx

Hi Shell,

Sorry it's taken so long to get in touch - nightmare about the computer...

Sam is a wee gem - can you believe he and Alex will be one soon????

He has 6 teeth now, with another coming and a grin that would mely=t anyone. He's still not crawling the lazy so and so, but I think he mightn't. He bum shuffles very well and bounces several inches at a time that is something to see!!!

As for work - The words not coping spring to mind - I hate it, but needs must at the moment. The acupunture is helping a bit with stress, but its the time away from Sam I hate. I look at him and think - where is my baby going? The time is going past so quick...

How's things with you and Lee?
