3RD TIME LUCKY

Post by jjs »

Hi I hope every one had a good christmas and a happy new year. We got our results on Dec 30th -tive for the second time. Dont know where we are going wrong!!!!! Have had a letter from the clinic to say we have a n appointment on March 9th not to long to wait. We have had 2 goes on the NHS we now have to go private about £3000 at aour clinic in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
We have some family in South Africa so we have decided to go visit we leave on 31st Jan for a month in the sun (what the hell thats what credit cards are for!!!!) When we get back we are hoping that we are refreshed and relaxed to try again. I have read Zita Jones book and have started the vitamin and mineral supplements I had Accupuncture last time did not think it helped with treatment but was a great for stress I am keeping that up this time round as well.
I wish all of you who are starting good luck and i hope 2005 is a bumper year for +tives.

Hi jjs...sorry to hear of your -ve. You sound very 'sorted' though. Your positive spirit is obviously still there. Good idea to start the vitamins etc now, always helps with the PMA.

I envy your trip to SA. What a fab time to go, just when the weather and winter are too boring for words in northern Europe. Where will you go? I've only been once but LOVED Stellenbosch and Cape Town.

Have a great trip and it will certainly help pass the time until early March.
Let us know how you get on.

Debra.

Hi Debra,
This is our second trip to SA we arrive in Cape town where our Aunt lives then we drive The Garden Rout to Plettenberg Bay to stay with our Cousin and her husband we then always go to Fancshoek The French Quater for a few days we can not wait.
I am trying to stay positve about the next try we both want it to work so much, my other half was so much more upset the second time around. I have showed him the site and he realises we are so lucky compaired to some of the girls who post on here who have had 5 and 6 tries and are still un succesfull so lots and lots of positive vibes for 2005 good luck to us all starting again :D :D :D

Hi JJS,

I also had a -tive around new years eve ( our 3rd) , isn't it just an awful time of year to go through it. No drinking at Christmas, taking things easy, then wham! Bad news before new years eve!! The rest of the world seem to be at their happiest and we're at our sadest!

On a happier note.. I am like you, very positive and keep looking forward. Also like you, my DH finds it harder each time ( partly because he feels he can't stand to see me so upset when it fails). But we pick ourselves up!! He also looks at this site and thinks it is a good thing for me. I read on one of the pages that there is a husbands site - have you tried it??

Also like you, we had our 2 free trials but then we were able to go semi - private and only pay for the drugs - around £800. Is this something you could ask your hospital about???

Enjoy S.A I have very good friends whose parents live there and they go out a few times a year. I am sure you will love it!!!

Can I ask what the vitamins are you talked about??? I take pronatal vitamins, but I haven't read the book you were talking about, is there anything else I should know??

Lots of luck and happy sunning!!! 8)

Hi Jjs - I'm sorry to hear about your last -ve. I know just what you mean about dh/dp taking it harder each time. Mine's the same - he was much more upset than me last time. I think a nice hol in SA is a great idea ... you'll come back all relaxed and refreshed, and raring to go ! That's the theory anyway .. !

Hi
Zita Jones book Fertility & Conseption has a great section on assisted Pregnancy I am taking VIRIDIAN HIGH FIVE MULTIVITAMIN AND MINERAL FORMULA an all in one capsual not the best taste in the world but its only one a day.
Have started to eat more organic as suggested cutting out all caffine drinking fruit teas not as nice as a big mug of Teatleys. Going on holiday soon so giving up alcohol all together will have to wait until i get back!!!! can not resist all those excellent South African Wines :D
There is a section on a Liver De Tox I am planning on doing this on my return from holiday
I think I have just about tried every piece of advice that I have read about but with each -tive you feel you have got to try some thing eles that may help you.
Our problem is we sail through the drugs the ER and ET but cannot get a result after the 2 ww so frustrating short of not getting out of bed and staying compleatly still wrapped in bubble wrap i dont know where we are going wrong.
Only one more week till we are in the sun so trying to have positive thoughts for our next try.
Lots of ++++++ thinking
Love jjs
