Gonal F

Post by Alette »

who knows about this?

Puregon I was prescibed in the past, they changed it into Gonal F.

9000 IE and 225 mg.
It sounds heavy to me...?

I still have to ask why they changed because I reacted fine to Puregon.
(maybe they get free gifts by more subscribing Gonal F??)
(kidding)
after lots of IUI, 4 FETs and 5 IVF's

Hi alette

I was on gonal f too. it was fine to use and the pen like injectors are sooo easy (do you have those?) - most girls dont even feel it going in!! (tho i would swap legs every other day!). I found it easier to take it out of the fridge about 10/15 mins before i used it, as my friend who works in a chemist told me thats what most people on insulin injcetions (diabetes) do. but some people find it better straight out of the fridge. i have heard its a very popular drug.

Anyway - hey...it worked out for me.

Got everything crossed for you - Good luck!!

love always

Hi Alette,
I was also on Gonal F. As everyone else has stated ... the pen injectors are fantastic! The needle is always so sharp that you don't even notice it (unlike the dull ones that bounce off your skin! HATE that.).

I was told that Gonal F is one of the "latest and greatest", and produces better results with most women. They also had me on a high dose for my IVF round (I continued on to use it with my IUI's but at a lower dose). I never overstimulated, so I guess they knew what they were doing.

Hope it works great and produces lots of little follies. Crossing my fingers and toes for you next month!
Love ya,
Kelly

Hi I used Gonal F, and I was on quite a high does. 225 and then 250 for the last few days.

I didn't use the pens to inject, I used to just do it very quickly in my tummy!
