Charlie .... Some girls have symptoms - sore boobs, aches, pains, you name it ... and go on to have BFPs. Others don't experience any symptoms - and again, go on to have +ves. I'm not just trying to make you feel better, it's the truth - although there's no logic to it.

Pls try to stay strong and positive a little longer....

HI Charlie,
Agree completely with Sandra, there doesn't seem to be any ryhme or reason to the whole thing..
In my case I had period pains right up to getting my positive preg test, as well as all my classic signs (pimples, tender breasts, sore tummy etc), I even had a little bit of blood in the loo (sorry if too much info) on the morning of the test..My beautiful daughter is now 11 weeks old and just a delight.
Sending lots of PMA and baby dust to you!

Hi guys

i had bad af pains during the second wk of the 2ww and was convinced it hadn't worked. this included really bad stomach cramps, sore boobs and low back pains - i get these everytime im due to get my period. nAnd i was pregnant with twins!! do not despair (seriously Charlie i think i need to come over there and wag my big finger at you!! :) )!!!!! the cramps can be the babies implanting nicely and making themselves at home, and ur womb changing shape, or someat. and the rest could sooo be down to the progesterone we plug into our bodies.......................

i really think PMA is the best way to go. i wish you all the best of luck..........truly

Love,

Toni xx

Cath and Charlie, now you know you test within 24hours of each other you can help keep your spirits up over these last few days :) It's damned difficult, we know.

Cath, I've added you to the test dates thread so that we all remember to wish you well.

hi girls, just a quick update. Went to the loo this morning and had brownish stuff in underwear, just a bit and nothing since dont know what that means, also i have a question about spotting....when you girls mention spotting what aqutually does that look like, is it tiny spots of red blood or what and if you havent had any is that negative cause the embies didnt implant. Also have lost my appitite and feel bloated, anyone hsd the same feelings?

Charlie, when I refer to spotting I mean intermittent bleeding - which doesn't get heavier - and usually old (brown) not new (red) blood.

Charlie,

I had a LOT of spotting and even fairly heavy red bleeding up until 7 weeks pregnant with my twin boys. I'm at 26 weeks now. It was very scary. I was sure so many times that it was over, having miscarried the cycle before this. I've even heard of women passing clots and still having a healthy baby, so as many have said, we are all different.

I hope you make it to your test/scan and that it is good news for you!

Hi Charlie

I had a frost replaced last tuesday and have had constant PP since but only mild and lower back ache. Did you have PP since replacement or only in the second week?

Hoping everything goes well for you

Take care
