HPT !!!

Afternoon Ladies,

Well i did hpt yesterday and it was a bfn (day14pt)!! im not sure how im feeling at the minute as im still in a lot of pain from the OHSS and started bleeding mon but finished weds which is very strange, usually after a neg its very heavy soz TMI !! I do have to go back to hospital on Monday for another scan to check measurements and make sure ovaries are calming down. Does anybody know how much longer i am going to be in pain for i think i could do with going back to work to try and get back on track. Just feeling pretty numb at the minute.

hey, i just pm'd u! wot a coincidence!
dont they say not to use a hpt coz theyre not accurate? my specialist absolutely hates them and i know for a fact theyre not accurate coz my sister was pregnant and the hpt's kept saying she wasnt!
do u not have to have a blood test?

well the clinic im with now do HPT instead of blood tests, i have just called them now and explained whats going on and they have now advised me to do another test in the morning now !!!!!
Cant see the result being any different but stranger things have happened i suppose.

the hpt test can be wrong.. i did oone and i had some bleeding
i thought it was all over... called the doctorand they said to come in and they did a blood test and i was pregant with my twins..
so hang in there....

I hope the hpts are wrong but did another this morning a 1st response one which measures low level and it was still negative. I do have a scan on monday morning to check the ovarys are calming down which i think they are as im not in pain as much as i was, so they should confirm that theres nothing there really, im ok i just have to accept that yet again its not my turn, dont know what im going to do next i just hope my recipient lady had more luck than i did.
I need to get myself back into shape physically and mentally before deciding whether to go again or not, plus im not looking forward to telling DS later that it hasnt worked this time. but he did know about the treatment and i have to be honest with him.

dont do any more test !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they are going to drive you nuts...
try and hang in there... monday will come soon enough...
have they done anything with your tubes sence you have had an Ectopic?

aaww ali, goodluck with your scan on monday, i wish there was more we can do... its such a helpless feeling, i hate it but u never know, miracles do happen and just maybe something will show up in the scan!
