Been away but back

Post by bubblymichelle »

Girls,

Just to let you know I have been away for a few days couldn't get online because I didn't have a tower. I am now back up and running so back with you.

Deb - If you read this can you let me know where that only me thread is about the jabs I can't find it?

Hi you, we'll just have to get used to your coming and going until the pc can be sorted out. It must be very frustrating. I'd be lost without my internet, I rarely watch tv now but spend 4+ hours on the computer at night (only when DF's on night shifts).

The 'ony me' thread is about 5 down from this one, was started by Maggs and Sally was the last poster.

Hiya Shell,

Glad you're back - I've missed you!

Look on my MMR thread - I've found some useful links re this very confusing and emotive subject.

I think this is my biggest dilemma so far!

Have a good weekend - love to Alex!

Good to see you back online, Shell. And I see that you are a moderator on Mum's the Word - I've just started being one too. Is there much involved in being a moderator?

Jules

P.S. If any other girls would like to join Shell and I over at the Mum's the Word board (it's a new board and is mainly made up of Mums who've been through fertility treatment), I can give you the web address.

Jules...I might join you and give up my US baby board. I've a board problem insomuch that I spend too much time on them and get twitchy if I'm away for too long. My US board is about 100 of us all with 20m olds. I have little in common with many but we share some issues re. development, diet etc. What's your board like?

Hi Jules

I don't think there is much involvement you just need to check the boards that you are allocated and make sure that there is nothing out of term or if something is posted in the wrong section move it, I believe you are also a mod. I am so happy that I am a moderator now because I want to be able to help people.

Becky - I have sent you a PM message.

Sally - How is work and how is the bab? thanks I have had a look at the mmr thing, such a big decision to make.

Love

Becky

It would be nice to be able to see photo's woudln't it? I did put a vote thing on but some wanted it and some didn't so in the end I said I wouldn't take it any further.
I used to go on FF but I was spending to much time on lots of sites so I had to cut it down.

i just went and saw your friend it is pretty nice..

i wish that there was something more for babies loss.
i dont know what. i geuss there will always be an emptyness for all of us that have had to go threw mc.

you should ask marcus about it..

i know that ff used to have some on there of babies that didnt make it and some how i found comfort with nowing that mine wernt alone..

i geuss that that is a bit borbed...
i have tryed to see about other sites i would have like to find one in the us so maybe we could meet up like sometimes people on here do, but i just never liked them. i think that i just liked everyone on here..
all thou there not on here much anymore.
i was talking with traci about flying to london next year and meeting who ever could come. the flights wernt that expensive. i thought it would be outrages.

HI Becky

The site does have a part for baby loss did you not see it? I will have a look on there and if I can't see it then I will feedback to Lynn, I am a moderator on there.

I may mention it to Marcus but at the end of the day if its his decision then I have to stand by him. To me I wasn't trying to take people away from this site I just wanted to support my friend and I didn't feel that I was advertising it but Marcus has is reasons at the end of the day.

You should see how many people would like to meet up, its great because we all seem so friendly and get on well on PC which is great.
