we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!

in a way i am but this was our one foster son. we hadnt talked with him for almost a year.
he made alot of great changes when he lived with us. then once he truned 18 and was about to graduate his birth mom started calling alot and sending him stuff. we had a job setup for him at the forest sevrvice for the summer then we was off to school to be a fire fighter.
but birth mom and dad told him that they needed to work on being a family and layed a huge guilt trip on him. so he left here and he had a huge fight with us. it was realy ugly..
but it was great to get his call... he said that his parents where still drinking and doing alot of drugs..
so he finaly moved out away from them....
i didnt even know that he was going to be a dad. his twin girls are 2 months old..
but i am so thankful that he called...

....but isn't it almost as good as being a grandma Becky ? He's your foster son, and they're his little girls. I'm so pleased for you that he called, and it'll be great when you see them in March

james is the one that came to us pretty beat up .. he was almost 17.
we got attached to him right away.. after seeing the doc a few times she had made comments how much james's manerisims have changed to be like craigs...
we couldnt beleave when his birth mom came here after his graduation and said that she was going to take care of him now...
that is all thses kids ever want is to beloved and who wouldnt want to be loved by there parents. so james threw away everything and went running to her and it didnt take long and james was on his own again..
she well most likely be in and out of his life forever....
i dont know if i can deal with that..
it hurt some much for james to leave the way he did....
