Hi Nicola,

I was hoping that you would have done the test as my symptoms are exactly the same as yours. Boobs no longer sore & very minor twinges no spotting. Only other symptoms have been my usual monthly craving for chocolate, headaches & 3 spots. Do you not have to go back to the clinic for your test? I'm due to go back to bupa on Friday for blood & urine test.

Fingers crossed for us both

Sue
x

Hi Sue

No, we're just given a pregnancy test kit by them, to do at home, then call them with results. I think the next step would be an early scan, can't remember what week, having never got that far before.
My clinic is the Cromwell in London, so I have to do a 1.30hr journey each time, so it's not exactly convenient to pop in, not forgetting taking time off work.

Anyway - day 16 and still no signs of AF - I forgot to mention I did have some twinges in my ovaries and headaches over the last few days. Don't normally get headaches, but it might just be the stress of thinking about it!

I couldn't sleep last night, thinking - what if this is it. I've never let myself get carried away before, but thought what the hell. Anyway, I really am getting anxious now, so I'm definitely going to do it tomorrow, whether DH is around or not. Oh well, I shall enjoy my last night of positive thinking.

Good luck for your test tomorrow as well!

N x

Hi Vikki,

I started with brown spotting the day before i was due to test so was in shock when tested positive. Im still spotting now & the spotting is now red & like yourself is very light & comes & goes, also had some period like pains. My hcg level was 100 on friday had another blood test on Monday as I was still spotting and my hcg level was then 250. Although it had risen it is not rising quite fast enough. Im waiting for a call today when the nurse has spoken to the consultant so presume will have to go back for another test. Also had water infection.

It really is quite worrying.

Good luck with your test.

Sue
x
Hi Sue,

How many embies did they put in? How are you feeling? I was pregnant last year and carried full term but unfortunaltey my baby was stillborn but at the beginning i had period pains and went to the loo evey five minutes to check that i haven't come on. Although i didn't it really felt like i was going to - the midwives said this is really normal. Take it easy....some people have this and are absolutley fine...don't worry too much. i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Please keep me posted.

Vikki
x

[Edited by Vikki Bat on 09-Oct-02 17:23]
Hi Vikki,

I only had 6 follies which were large enough 1 @ 24, 4 @ 17 and 1 @13 of which there was only 4 eggs only 2 fertilized. So I had 2 Embryos transfered both of which were 2 cells.
My cycle was nearly cancelled due to the poor response.

I'm still spotting but not as bad. How long did your spotting last?

Sorry to hear about your past experience my sister went through the same in June of this year it really is devastating and must have taken you a lot of courage to try again.

All the best

Sue
x
Hi ladies

Spent some time in the chat room with you last night, and today I have joined you all in the 2ww. Had 3 embies put in this morning, 1x2 cell, 1x3 cell and 1x4 cell - seeing them under the microscope was amazing.

Clinic have advised to take the next 2 weeks off, but it depends on how stircrazy I get. Any advice on what to do/what not to do during these 2 weeks?

Who was that weirdo in the chatroom last night - how sick is that?

Good luck and keep smiling to all those out there going through this!
Love
Lucy
xx
