Glad I found this

Post by betts35 »

Hi everyone. I am new here. Just found you guys today and have learned a lot already. I had my first invitro transfer Feb 3. I do preg test on Monday (Valentines Day!) I feel like it will be negative. I just can't imagine otherwise. Anyone else invitro in Jan/Feb? Any signs or symptoms this early on? I felt a little dizzy yesterday and have been extremely tired. Probably the emotional stress of it all and the invitro drugs? Anybody know if I have to wait until day 14 to preg test or can I test on day 12?

Hi Betts/Betts35?

I'll add you to the test dates thread so that everyone can follow your results. There are others testing next Monday too, so you're in good company. Join one of the buddies groups if you think it will help you get through the last few days of waiting.

Good luck
Debra.

Thanks ogr1 and debraP. I won't test early. You're right about the results. Debra, how do I join/view the list for those testing on the 14th?

Just wanted to say welcome! Testing Monday! That's great! You've almost made it through the worst part...the 2ww. It's a killer! Until then, think positive! You never know until they test and sometimes retest. And it sounds like you may already be having some symptoms (possibly). I agree...do not test early. You never know if it is correct. I will be thinking of you and praying for your +ive test on Monday!

Hugs, :D

Stephanie, Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I am trying to stay busy but have a very slow week...with not much to keep me preoccupied. Husband is writing a 30 page paper for school and we are new to the area. trying to stay positive and calm. I may be going through it all again around same time you do in May (me-April cycle) if we are negative.

Sandra..3rd time will be the charm! I assume that means you don't have nearly the drugs with FET, right? We weren't able to freeze any but the docs did xfer 3 embryos: two 8 cell and one 4 cell on day 3. We will start over w/ April or July cycle if -tive.

I am trying to be positive, but it is so consuming. The not knowing is hard because I have no direction to go with!! I am a planner!

It sounds like you're embies were top notch, so that's reasurring .. You're nearly (I know, 3 more days ..!) there, just try to be patient a little longer. I know what you mean about the planning. This tmt just turns your whole life upside down, and you loose control. It will all be worth it on Monday. PMA !!

Re the FET ... You're right. It means only the downregging drugs, no stims, so it should be much easier. Also, I was in a lot of discomfort with the stimming last time, before and after EC - so, none of that !
