hiya every 1 i hav"nt been on the board 4 a while but i have still been going on line seeing how every 1 is doing my problem is - ive had 2 shots @ ivf 1st time i got as far as et but unfortunatley i got my periods then 4 mth later we had another go but unfortunatley again we had to stop treatment cause i was"nt producing that many follicules dont know why ? so took a yr off from the ivf nothing happend ? a year is over now decided to go back to centre of life ncl have another shot and go private went last fri for a discussion and the doc told me and my dlp that we have a 5% chance @ conceiving because my body reacts to the drugs like how a 40yr old woman would ? bearing in mind when we 1st went 2yr ago they told us that there should"nt be a problem since we are both young and nothing wrong with either of us and to top it all off she offerd us egg donation which was a hugh shoock i know alot of women have to consider this option but i didnt think that i"d be 1 of them !

Hi Ruthie, and welcome to the site. I'm sorry to hear your last 2 cycles have failed, and know how hard it is.

Have you made any decisions since seeing your doc last week, re a way forward ?

Do you know what your FSH test was? , I have the same problem but at 38 yrs old my FSH is 23 which is crap !!! if you need a chat pm me with your tel no I have had 2 x donor as well as 2 x icsi with my own ! using my sisters eggs next Jan

Hiya

I have that problem too, although 2 yrs ago my FSH was 11 then 9, and I didnt respond on a long protocol, and only managed 1 embie/3eggs on a Short protocol, but at my appoint 8 wks ago, he could not figure out why I cant produce many eggs, as I am young (ish), asked whether I have emdostrosis (spell) but I am sure I dont???

Me 31 Poor responder, DH 37 failed vasect.reversal.
1st ICSI 3 eggs, 1 embie - neg
2nd ICSI 4 eggs, 3 embies - neg
3rd ICSI 5 eggs, only 1 egg mature, 1 x embie -POS, Miscarried early may 04 at 9 wks

Have you looked up FSH levels on the internet ? I found a good site I will try and find it for you .

i am sorry about your heart ache.. it all does hurt so much and it is all such a huge shocker..
i had hope for along time that we would beable to have surgery and someone would donate an embie for us there hasnt been any at our clinic.....
you should talkk with traci she nows all of the ends and outs.....

and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!
