News was not good today levels had dropped to a miserable 5...

Looks like I miscarried after only a week..

So I now have to stop filling my body with Progesterone & oestrogen and wait for mother nature to take its course.................and to add to the misery will have to wait an extra month as I had a positive result before I can request treatment to have another frostie put back.....

So its looking like May for round 3!!!!!!!!!!!!

Already damaged the credit cards and are currently enjoy the red wine although I dont think it is doing anything to improve my mood..

Hi,
I'm CC and I've only just discovered this site - where has it been hiding? I could have really done with the advice last time but still better late than never. I'm on my second round of ICSI after TTC for 6 years. I'm currently on my TWW and its killing me - test is booked for 21st Feb but I did try a HPT today and it was negative. I feel a little better reading here that its too early but I do feel rather depressed as I can feel those tell-tale signs of P.pains, headaches and general elastic stomach that says my treatment hasn't worked. It's nice to know I'm not alone though as its a very lonely time - I thought it would be easier being 2nd time but its so much harder because I keep comparing similar feelings knowing that last time I was unsuccessful. Two quick questions - does anyone have treatment at the CRM in Coventry where I am? It's so weird - so many hundreds pass through there but you never get chance to talk. Also has anyone tried Blastocyst transfer? - I'm already starting my research for next time - convinced that this hasn't worked!

Oh Sarah, I'm sorry you've finally brought this news. Look after yourself, whilst you take some time to come to terms with it ... then you need to start preparing for next time. It'll be here before you know it. Take care ..

Hi CC - welcome to the site

Stay away from the HPTs, they're evil. Pls try not to convince yourself it's all over .... I'm afraid you've still got a fair way to go, and I know how hard it is ..... try to stay positive, 'cos I'm sure it does help. Lots of +ve visualisation ...

Thanks for reply - I still can't get over this network all over the place - it's amazing - there's really no-one I can talk to - all closest freinds have 1 or 2 babies and it just isn't the same as talking to people who know what it feels like. I wanted to say sorry to Sarah for her news - I really feel for you - I hope it's not too long before you are blessed.

CC, have a read of the January buddies board where others on the 2ww are hanging out. You've only got 9 days to go but OMG they pass so incredibly s-l-o-w-l-y......chatting about it all helps enormously.

Just wanted to say GOOD LUCK to Betts and Jane testing along with me tomorrow!!!!!! - Lets hope we all bet a BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone have any tips on relaxing or sleeping before test day? - I have hardly slept for the past few nights as my mind is all over the place! - It is a shame alcohol is out of the question as a nice glass of Chardonnay would surely do the trick!!!!!

I've just had my 3rd ivf at the CRM, been having infertility treatment there since 2000. I think it is a brilliant centre and the staff have made the whole process a lot more bearable.

I'm sorry you are feeling so down at the moment not long to go though so try and hang in there, I think every person on these board thinks treatment has failed during the 2ww so you are not alone.

I just saw your post from yesterday. I'm so sorry. Getting a -ive result from the start is hard enough but I think what you are dealing with has to be even worse. I'm glad to see you are already planning your next attempt. I might be looking at May myself so maybe we'll be cycling together. We'll get there....eventually!
