Hi Mrs B

I just want to say hello and welcome, unfortunately I am not from that area but I am sure there is someone who should be able to advise you. I wish you lots of luck with your tmt and hope everything goes ok. I hope that you get some help from someone on the site I am quite sure you will.

Take Care
Shell.

hi. i have heard very good things about ARG, although I think they are v expensive and very busy. we are having our first IVF attempt and are at te Lister, who although busy have been very good so far. good luck with your search - it's very confusing isn't it? hopefully people out there will have had direct experience of your choices so can fill you in.

Hi,
we live not far from you and had treatment at the Chiltern clinic in Bucks. I didn't fancy going into London reguarly and thsi clinic is small and very good. As you can see from my sig we had successful ICSi treatment there and will go back again in a year or two. I don't visit this site often, so if you want any more details feel free to e-mail me.

Hello Mrs.B

I used to live in Lower Earley. We haven't lived there since 2000. that was before we started ttc. I have no idea but I am really surprised that there isn't any where closer than oxford or London.
I am assuming that you have been to the Royal Berks. What have they said?
I will ask some friends that I still keep in touch with from Reading and get back to ya ok.

Good Luck!! :)

Thanks for your replys, Yes i have been to royal berks i have spent alot of time there, i have been told that Ivf is my only real chance as i have very bad scar tissue which has kinked my tubes and stuck nearlly everything else down which causes me alot of pain most of the time and i have been told pregnacy may cure it all as well. Everyone laughs because im am quite young ( im only 23 dh 28) we have been ttc for over 3 years now. i have been in hospital over 5 times last year and off work for weeks at a time . Now dh and i having a family is the closest its ever been and im really nervous :? We have decided to go to harley street as they do alot of scans blood test at a local hosptal dunedin in reading im just worried i haven't made the right choice as i can't find anyone whos been there

Hello Mrs B.
I think you're better off going to Harley St, but honestly at the end of the day it's up to u and ur fella.
I have asked some old mates in Reading, they seem to think London would be closest. I am still quite surprised, there isn't anywhere in Reading. Dont worry about ur age either, that doesn't matter. Better u do it earlier than leave it too late...........
Good Luck :)

Hi Mrs B
I have been treated ar ARGC and they are very good but what I will say is they are very controlling and once you start stimming they do blood tests daily and twice daily for the last few days (well for me any way) I dont know if all clinics do this but it is worth thinking about akll the travelling involved when you make a choice. My advice would be to contact the clinics you are considering and get a feel for which one you like.
