Hi everybody, I am new to this site but already love it. It provided really good clear descriptions of the procedure. I go back for my test on the 23d and I pray that it is positive. My husband is so excited, while I loom in a dazed mode because I don't want to get too excited then it all comes barreling down on me.

My week ususally goes pretty fast but now it seems to be crawling along.

I have been having quick sharp pains; however, my doc said that it could be normal...anybody else experience this?

Hi Shan, welcome to the board. I'm not sure if you read the post before yours but you're certainly not alone!

The 2ww is a killer, days pass too slowly but as the test date looms we get scared and excited. Have a look at the January buddies thread over on the general forum, some of the people on there are waiting for their results now.

I'll add you to the test dates thread so you can see who else is waiting.

Re. the pains. Most doctors will warn you that the ovaries need to contract/shrink hence the sharp pains, and that all the extra meds will cause all kinds of feelings - physical and emotional.

Good luck dear, that 2ww will soon be over. 23rd you say? just 1 day to go. Then it'll be 1ww. I hope this is the news you are waiting for. Not got to that stage yet, still waiting for consultation in March. All the best!
