Firstly I hope you don't mind me butting in your link. I wanted to ask Trace...
How did you go about asking your cousin to be an egg donor?
I know it isn't the same thing, but if we keep failing at IVF I want to ask my cousin if she will be a surrogate. Do you have any tips????? I know it will be a tricky subject as I don't want to put her under pressure if she doesn't want to do it.
All the other girls --- GOOD LUCK!!!!! We are waiting to do an egg sharing cycle and it is lovley to see messages from the recipients, makes it more personal x

Hi there , well it was easy for me really cause in conversation she mentioned to my Mum that she would love to help but that was 2 years before I asked her and she was emigrating in the january and this was July I had to act fast so I had a few drinks like you do! and phoned her up she thought about it and then said ok ! to make things worse she lived in Bornmouth and I am in Oxford but between a clinic down there and mine in Northampton we pulled it off . stressfull but worth it even if it did come out negative . I asked my sister 2 years ago when I first learned that I might need eggs and she has just said yes , I guess she wanted to see how far I would go before giving up as this is a big step for her but she has seen me go through 4 cycles and still nothing and feels that now is the time to step in . This will be my final go . I have to say that being a recipient is far easier then going through all the egg collection etc . Good luck with your TMT let me know how you get on . Perhaps you should just start a conversation about the whole TMT and see what her reaction is she may even offer without you asking .

I am sorry your last treatment didn't work and i will be rooting for you on your next one. You have a wonderful cousin and sister.
We are waiting to start our 4th attempt using the egg sharing. The egg sharing makes it affordable to have more goes and gives somebody else some hope in their lives. I am not sure when I will have the courage to say ok lets try something else, but when I do I think those few drinks will be needed
