im officially on the 2ww! thought i'd never get here... feels weird! as a lot of u probably know, im the chicken remember so they had to totally sedate me for ET! yep, im also officially a wuss! it was a nice sleep though.. DH couldnt come in with me unfortunately but he was kinda happy with that coz he's a bit of a wuss as well!! (we's like peas & carrots!)
the scientist told us that our embryo's had split into 8 cells which is perfect for day 3 so we're happy with that! i just rang the hospital and they told me that the 1 remaining embryo had frozen - cool! (literally )

i was disappointed about only having 3 fertilise but u've helped me snap out of it, you're absolutely right, it only takes 1!

hope today went well for you and that u had 3 juicey ripe eggs - even 1 would be great! hope blocked tube didnt get infected... its 5.30pm here it must be morning for you so just to let u know im sending u lots of positive vibes!

having embryo's in is constantly on my mind and dont laugh but the first nite i couldnt sleep - everytime i turned to sleep on my side i'd wake up and think no, im gonna squash them so i'd end up on my back again - i woke up sooo many times and in the morning i woke up with a sore back... like hello, talk about being paranoid hehe i slept well last nite as my cousin reassured me that our bodies are designed to protect them!!
then there was the toiled episode (eek tmi sorry!) but they cant fall out rite??!!!
slap me back into sense somebody, please!
Hi Danica, I don't understand why we have the same test date as my ET was the day after yours. I'll check with the hospital next week just to make sure.
I know what you mean about the 'toilet thing'
I'm still getting cramps from having the EC and ET within a day of each other.

it looks like like testing the same date as lesleyp and dancia - i hope all is going well for you both - i dont remember the 2 ww being this bad before and i am only on day 2. I have put my feet up as suggested and am now so bored it is unreal. Its hard to know how much to do or not to do, when you think about all the naturally conceived embies I bet they did not go round saying i can not do this and i must put my feet up all day. Any suggestions on how to get through this, i have watched DVD's read my book, done some cross stitching but all this sitting around is getting on my nerves, sorry to mention this but ive just been to the toilet and out came my pesserary - it was grey with strands of blood in it, this has not happened before does this mean i might have lost my embies already - sorry to be so negative, i am going upstairs now to put on my make up and go out for a little while to see if i can take my mind of things for a bit. fingers crossed for all those on the 2ww.
Not been posting lately as not had that much to say, but habe been following all your progress.
Went to the hospital appointment to see the fet specialist on wednesday. Came away feeling quite positive really.
We can phone on day 1 on next af and request to start fet. which should only be about five weeks away. So not as long as I originally thought to start again. They were also quite positive, as were told that ladies that over respond to the stimms, which was myself have quite a high success rate. I can out feeling a little excited. Although know I shouldn't get carried away. But you due have to try and remain positive.
Anyway here's to starting again very soon.

I'm only on day 2 and I'm bored as well, been asleep most of the aftrnoon, I think the last few weeks have caught up on me.
This time I've stopped smoking(7 weeks tomorrow), and I've stopped drinking normal tea, coffee and coke. The decaff tea is ok. I'm also off work for the whole of the 2WW this time.
Going to my mums for dinner tomorrow, I'll be there all afternoon getting looked after,so that will pass another day.
Is anyone still getting stomach cramps from EC and ET? The cramps aren't as bad as yesterday and I haven't taken any paracetamol today.
Just wondered if it was mormal.
I'm not taking pessaries this time as I only produced three foilcles, I took another HGC injection on Friday then another on Sunday then that's it.
I remember the pessaries been 'messy' and I didn't think they worked.

lesley you're rite, i counted 14days after ET but they incl. that day so the big test day is march 2nd!
i still feel bloated from EC and crampy which are side affects of the progesterone gel but this morning i woke up with slight period pains which im a little concerned about but quite a few women on here have experienced that and still got a BFP so fingers crossed!
the thing thats making me go mad as well is the fact that i gave up smoking too!! congratulations on 7 weeks - u go girl!!

have u got the pessary thing sorted? i hope everythings ok - i highly doubt that your embies have fallen out as your cervix closes tightly, (i was reassured by a friend at the womens hospital i used to work at!) let me know how u go

5 weeks thats fantastic, ive heard that a FET is way less invasive than a full cycle so a BIG goodluck
