Hi

CC - was sorry to read your AF has arrived. You will still be tested on Monday though?

Joanne - hope you are lucky on Sunday with your test.

I'm doing ok but only been on 2ww since Thursday, once the embryos go back I just tell myself I'm pregnant till someone tells me I'm not, it helps me.

Sally - just wanted to say I was thinking of you and what you are going through.

Cheryl - Make sure you take the test anyway - lots of girls had bleeding. I did, and my mum had a period for the first 3 months of her pregnancies. Look after yourself either way - lots of pampering.

Wendy - Good luck girl - that' s the attitude.

Take care all

Well it's big :( :( and :( for me, did hpt this morning as directed by clinic and nothing. Feel absolutely devastated and very  that life can be so cruel, dh is totally distraught, we didn't even get to take test last time and he was secretly hoping that because we got to the crucial stage it would all work out ok.

I am now wondering where to go from here, part of me doesn't want to give up but another part of me just thinks I can't go through this anymore, 3 failed IUI's and now 2 IVF's - sorry guys just feeling very sorry for myself......

AF not turned up yet - that's another of lifes little mysteries.... :?

Hi

Joanne I am so sorry that you got a negative today. Do you still get a blood test from the hospital just to make sure? There are no easy answers in what to do next, just take a bit of time.

Hi Bel, How are you? Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, thanks for your positive wishes.

Hi Joanne, so sorry to read you got a -ve result. I know exactly what you meant about hoping that because there'd been no AF that this time would be different. It's a very cruel process.

The standard advice is take time and I just wanted to stress how important this is. I made a very rash decision last summer after our last try was cancelled. We loudly announced our retirement from trying. I now feel so stupid having made such a noise about it all. I wish I'd taken a bit more time to think it all through.

Take good care of yourself, talking to DH will help get it all out of your systems. If your clinic offer follow-up apts. you might want to have that in the diary to give you something to think about.

Take care,
Debra

Thanks Wendy and Debra.....

Got to phone the hospital tomorrow to let them know the outcome of todays test, today has been awful, seems to have dragged over! Not sure what they will say if AF hasn't showed up - guess it will turn up when it's ready!

We have talked today and decided that we will go and discuss future options, think to be honest they will just say we have been unlucky and try again....

I know I can't give in yet, too many inspirational stories on here that makes you realise it is worth persevering.

Good luck to everyone due to test!

Cheryl....I realised I'd not said anything about your -ve - sorry.

I'm not sure why but I really felt you'd be a +ve. Sometimes you just get these feelings. Maybe because you were so enthusiastic? Either way, sorry you got a crap result. It just wasn't your time yet.

Take good care of yourself,¨
hugs

hi Debra. cant quite believe I'm able to say this now, but please could you put me down as testing on March 7th!!
.

this is my first IVF and all has gone really well so far. very few adverse reactions to drugs, produced 15 eggs at EC, 10 of which fertilised. at ET today they put back 2 x 6 cells, a grade 1 and a grade 2. feel somewhat disappointed that the remaining 8 were pronounced too poor to freeze..not sure what that means, but feel somehow that it is an indication that we dont produce very good embryos on the whole. had read that a number of alternative embryos to replace other than those that go in, can be indicative of higher rates of pregnancy.

anyway, will remain as positive as i was before if poss, and let the next two weeks pass in as indulgent a way as i can find!!

wishing all of those on the 2WW lots of luck!!
