Hello I was told about this website so thought I would give it a go! Just wondering if there's anyone at the same stage of IVF as me??? I go for my scan on Tues to see if I can start my injections on Thurs/Fri of this week. Went last week for my scan but as my period had been late the lining of the womb wasn't thin enough to go ahead with the injections - hopefully the womb will be ready this week! Have been taking the sniffer for 3 weeks now and this is my first cycle of IVF.

Thanks

Hi, welcome to the site. You might want to trawl through the February Friends/Buddies thread over on the General Forum, there's likely to be someone at the same/similar stage as you.

It's good to join a monthly buddies board no matter what, tmt is generally a frustrating and lonely time. Chatting to others going through exactly the same highs and lows really does help.

Hi, I've been taking down reg injections for the past 17 days (instead of the sniffer), I got AF this morning and I'm waiting on word from my clinic as to when I get my base-line scan done and start follicle growing injections. I think I'll be starting on Fri. This is my first IVF cycle as well. Best of luck with it all. xxx

Thanks Debra P & Nolan for your response! It's nice to know that there's support at this important time! I had my scan today and have been told that I start the injections either Thursday/Friday this week! The nurse will ring me tomorrow with the blood results and tell me then! Glad to be moving to the next stage!!!!! Good luck to the rest of you who are going through the same stage!

Good luck with your test results tomorrow. The jabs will be fine.....eek! the thought is worse than the reality usually. I cried before doing my first I really thought it would hurt...as the needed slid in and I realised I couldn't feel it, I started laughing at the same time...DF thought I was completely loopy!
