1000 babies party

Post by Dawn V »

Hi girls
I don't get to post much now but try to log on every now and then and catch up.
We have been to a party today at the football ground held by our fertility clinic to celebrate the birth of 1000 babies through the clinic over the last 9 years. It was absolutely amazing to be there with our very precious Josh. I felt really tearfull and so priveliged to be there with him.
I also met several couples whom me and dh had previously worked with and a couple of girls I went to school with!
Am still feeling very emotional as it brought back so many memories seeing the nurses again. I just want to keep hold of my little man and never let go!!
Well thats enough of me blubbing (can't even blame the hormones any more)!
love to you all
Dawn & Josh (17wks old tomorrow)

HI Dawn,
Can completely relate to being hormonal. We have a new toilet paper add here in Queensland, this gorgeous little baby boy, probably about one, who is toddling about for the first time. The labrador puppy keeps rolling toilet paper rolls under his little bottom each time he falls..Very very cute, I just SOB when I see it..My husband John just laughs at me...
Is a very special, precious gift we've been given Dawn..Enjoy your little man

People have told me that becoming much more emotional is quite normal after becoming a mum. I cry very easily now at tv news, sad stories about children, in fact anything to do with kids makes me cry now. We had to walk out of Kill Bill 1 when I realised she'd been pregnant before the film began, Maya was about 4m old and I couldn't bear the thought.

Dawn...we'd have a very long wait for our clinic to hold the same party, Maya was their 3rd baby....!!! The party sounds wonderful though, it must be SOOOOOOOO special to be involved as an employee and see so many happy parents and lovely children.

We are blessed.
Debra.
