Hi,
I am 34 yrs and live my DH and our son who is In his first grade and doing great in school. we live in Boston. And I love this place (though it snows heavily). We hadbeen tried for 2 yrs by ourselves to have our second child and so far so luck. Then in mid 2003 we went to a fertility doctor and was diagonsed with endo and did a laproscopy on me to clean my adhesion. still didn't work. So we went a Repro doctor and it took then nearly 10 months to figure out what medication best fits me. kept changing doctors and at one point a doctor said I was not taking my medications properly so i was not responding well. Then finally my current doctor prescribed 3 vials of gonal-F anf 10 units of luron till the very end of the day they ask us to stop and take the HCG. Our first attempt failed and yesterday we went for our second attempt. Thhey put only one fet and one fresh. Don't know how well this will work. Self and DH are so upset.
What really upset us was the doctor retrieved 6 eggs out of me and only one fertilized that too 3FB rating. But my fet was a 7fb. When I asked the doctor how come only one fertilized out of the 6, the doctor said the remaining five were not mature. Does this mean did the doctor do my ER ealier. If they had left my folicles in me for a few more days may be they would have matured?.Last week my nurse said they will be calling me only in the middle by the 25th or 26th of feb for a ER and suddenly the nurse called me last week and asked me to take the HCG. hope it works. march 7th is my pregnancy test.
thanks for listening

that is good news....just make sure you get plenty of rest...don't do no overexerting things at all for at least the two weeks. Meditate and just relax and if you're religious praying helps. I heard that drinking a pint of milk and 2 pints of water a day is really good after egg transfer...take care.
Hi,
Thanks for all your comfort and advice. I really appreciate it. It makes me feel all the better. I am a religious person. But the funny thing about me is my mind keeps wandering. Anyways I have full faith in HIM and HE know how hard I am working this to succeed and only HE alone can do a miracle for me.
