I am not supposed to inject Gonal f.

What did I do?
I injected Gonal f.
panic.
I called the nurse.
she only a bit reassured me.
this is only my first scan after starting injecting... maybe it is not a disaster....
we have to see on the scan....
pleasssee... how could I be so stupid!!!??????
and you know, this time I injected 225, all the other attempts only 200....
now I am nervous till the scan...

Dont Panic this is your first scan so should be ok but I wouldnt do it on the second!!!! I did the same thing and it was fine its just that they need to see the developement before the next scan ,

Hi,
I did the same thing in my last cycle. But You don't need to panic. Just as Tracy ahs mentioned, they just want to monitor your progress.
In my case the doctor asked me to take only 3 powders of gonal -f before my HCG was going to be taken. But i (in my own world) accidently mixed 3 powders and only after i injected did I realise that I made a mistake. I kept praying and the next day I was called for ultrasound and by God's grace it was ok. But I will never make this mistake again as it scared me to death just like how you feel now.
Relax and don't worry. Wish you all the best.

it was okay!
it was only the first real scan!
nothing to worry about (but I really must say, it was sooo stupid, well I will never do this again!!)....
Sunday next scan.
I posted a message on the Dutch board, asking if anybody had some gonal f left.
So kind!
Tonight I am going to collect 450 IE and tomorrow a friend of mine is getting 300 IE.
nb, the first 3 ivf's in Holland are (mostly) paid by the insurance and some women have medicines left...
Lucky me ha! Saves me 460 euro! aroud 300 pounds...
long live black market!!

that is great about your meds..
i know that when we where done with ivf we donated all of our unopenend meds to the clinic....
they cost so sticken much...
