I have just finished reading " Baby Trail" by Sinead Moriaty. It was excellent and am sorry it has ended.
Can anyone recommend any other similar good books.
Thanks for your time

.. the only thing I've found about that book was that it seemed to kinda speed up at the end, as though the author was fed up, and wanted to get it over with ?! Could really relate to it though, in parts
Sorry - no other suggestions ..

I read Inconceivable last year inbetween treatments, I enjoyed it but found it a little close to home at times.
A book I've really enjoyed was The Corrections by Jonathan Frantzen. Plus for a good airport/beach type easy read, The DaVinci Code - not brilliant but I wanted to know what all the fuss was about.
I liked because it was funny, India Knights Don't you want me? and also My Life on a Plate.
I read Tony Parsons The Family Way when I was going through ICSI last Summer, because I had read his other books it had a few thoughts a little to close to home but altogether was a good book

I read the Baby Trail a few months ago and thought it was good. I suppose it did seem a bit rushed at the end but I still enjoyed it.
I like Virginia Andrews - they are a bit same-y but an easy read.
Reading is a great way to take your mind off IVF and fertility treatment for a while and if anyone is like me it's on my mind 24/7, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year..........

i have also read the baby trial book and thought it was a bit flimsy and rushed at the end whereas the film maybe baby based on inconceivable by ben elton is just so true to form you can feel for the couple in every sense and the actors portray the emotions really well. I have also bought the da vinci code book as every one is raveing about it and i also bought the tenko club which is meant to be a good read. At the moment i am trying to get through the frozen lake which is a bit hard going but want to finish it before i start another.
are the any more suggestions for the 2 ww i dont remember it being this bad last time i went through it. i am on a count down but know that when it gets nearer the date to test i wont want to (its a vicious circle)
Im on chapter 23 now. It's good and I am still enjoying it but I can't believe how quickly things are moving for her.
We had to wait 1year before tests then another yr to get to hopstial to have internals and smears and blood test etc... then another yr for dh to have a biopsy. he actually dicided on the morning not to go ahead (so wasted a year really) and then another few months to get the HSG done, now more waiting til our clinic appoinment (which is this tues)
How much more waiting!!
So compared to our rollcoaster ride her's is better than ours!!!
I am feeling her emotions, cried reading it last night!
IUI using donor in 2005
1st IVF cancelled OHSS 2006
2nd IVF 4 eggs all failed to fertilise 2009
3rd IVF successful 2010 pregnant Miscarried early
FET negative 2011
ADOPTED DAUGHTER 2014
I can also recommend 'Brick Lane' by Monica Ali. It's esp. good if you know the part of London she writes about but I thought it was a great book. Has nothing to do with fertility!!!
