What do you think to an Introduction Forum?

Post by bubblymichelle »

Hi Girls

I have done a post for Marcus to see if he would consider us a Introduction Forum. It would be nice for our new members to have a place to introduce themselves. What do you think?

Hi Michelle, I voted no so thought I'd better explain why.

I wonder if General should be left as is but with a new forum for people actively undergoing treatment? All that would be on there are the different monthly buddy groups who have all started or have a date to start and are chatting together already. The General board could then become just that, an entry place, somewhere for questions or messages, news not related to treatment etc. What do you think?

Debra.

You have a fair point I could put that forward to Marcus also. The thing is I still think it would be good for an introduction forum but we all have our own opinions I guess.
When I get chance I will do an email to Marcus and let you know the outcome.

 I would like an introduction forum as i've only been on this website for the last week and feel a bit lost cos you all seem to know each other and your history - although I find the profile very good to see the success stories and the sad stories concerning each of us. By the way I go for my day 6 scan with the fsh injections - hopefully all is going well & I don't have to inject many more days!!!!! I'm havin a bit of a rollercoaster with the injections - my dh is giving me them & is still learning so was quite sore and stingy the first couple of times!!! Is this just me or did anyone else feel the same??? Was visiting my parents at the weekend and felt like they didn't understand what we were going through and came home feeling sorry for myself! Need to become positive again - have to give myself a kick in the you know where!

Feeling tired so must get some rest as my scan is at 8.30 tomorrow morning! Keep you posted. xxx

Hi Everyone ... I've got to agree with Debra, that if there was an Undergoing Treatment forum, everyone else - be they inbetween treatment, or newcomers, would just post as normal in the General forum. Otherwise, we're going to have so many forums it'll just get too confusing. Traci - we don't mind you taking up all the space, honest :D
