Three years ago I recieved the best news ever and that was that me and my partner were going to be parents. We had been ttc for 8 years until I went for some tests which showed that my tubes were blocked, had load of more tests and op's but they did'nt work so we were trying to stay positive. Waited and waited to start IVF Treatment finally did and WOW WOW WOW to be told after all that we had both been through that we were to become parents was the most amazing feeling ever and to hold our baby son was well I can't put it into words he is now 3yrs old and just a joy to have. We will be have another go soon so who no's but whatever the outcome I still have my son.
Hi and weclome. One of the recurrent themes on this board is how incredibly lucky we all feel. Like many I look at my (ivf) child and am stunned that I'm a mum to this wonderful little person. I welled up at lunchtime today just watching her eat waffles! I asked DF if he thinks we'll ever stop thinking she's a miracle, we both think we'll stay stunned for a lot longer yet.
I always call my son little miricle, Because thats what he is. When I get low which we all do from time to time for whatever reason all I have to do is look at his little smiling face and well everything is alright again because honestly I think If I did,nt have my son I would not be as happy as I have been these last 3yrs and its all down to him.

and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!
