New Mummy

Post by slymunchkin3 »

Hi Ladies,

Well I am finally here, hope you don't mind me joining you over here. I gave birth last Sunday to my beautiful little boy, Bradley Michael. I had been in hospital for 5 days trying to induce me but little Bradley did't want to appear. Then they said I may have to have a section. On Sunday morning they broke my waters & at 4.48p.m. Bradley was born NATURALLY weighing 8 pounds 7 & half ounces & he is absolutley perfect in everyway.
He has gorgeous blonde hair. I can't believe he is here & he is ours. I never thought I could be so happy. DH is over the moon, like the cat that caught the cream.
We came home 24 hrs after Brdley was born and are settling into parenthood nicely.
On the day he was born DH went to change the parking ticket on the car & the time it ran out was exactly the time Bradley entered the world 4.48.p.m.!
The midwife who delivered him got goose bumps when DH told us.
Bradley is a good little eater, loves his milk. I still find it strange saying his name & can't stop looking at him, just can't believe it.

Well sorry for rambling on I am just totally smitten, as I am sure you all are. I hope to get to know you all as we go through this wonderful time. Will try to post when I can. Thank you all for listening to me rambling on. Hope all your babies are happy & healthy. :D :D

Christina, Hi and welcome to the happiest part of the board (IMO).

Your joy is totally understandable and enjoy every minute. My daughter is 20m and an enormous source of happiness. More than we ever thought possible. DF and I often look across at each other and just grin stupidly....the miraculousness of it all doesn't wear off.

She's calling 'bye bye' to the Teletubbies right now :D

Post as often you as can with news and updates on Bradley's progress. We'd love to hear all about him.

Congratulations on his birth.
Debra.

Hi All,

I haven't posted here for a while. Just wanted to say little Bradley is doing great. We had to change his food to the hungry baby food & at 1 month old he is drinking 6oz every 3 hrs. He is a right little bruiser. At three weeks old he weighed 11lbs, he was 8lbs 7 & 1/2 at birth, going to be weighed again next week. Even though he is so young he is such a character.

Would also like to wish you all Happy Mothers Day. This will be a special one for all of us, Also my birthday falls on Mothers Day this year so we will be having double celebrations.

Hope all your babies are doing well & enjoy Mothers Day everyone :) :)

It's good to hear the good news - of course we don't mind - in fact, the more the merrier!!!

The smile will never go away - we had Sam, 7 weeks early, last February and are still amazed we have him. The joy these babes create is worth every since second of the wait.

Happy Birthday for Sunday and enjoy your first Mother's Day :o
