Hi Brandi

Just thought I would tell you not to worry about being too slow.

My eggs have always been slow but on the plus side it gives your body chance to produce a few more. Last cycle took 19 days of stimming and the sizes weren't that great but when I had egg collection they got 12 eggs of which 10 fertilized and 2 were put back in and 6 were frozen. I am now 20 weeks and 3 days pregnant so that bit longer stimming certainly helped.

Good luck and try not to worry!!!!

Good luck Brandi tomorrow - hope all goes well for you and the EC goes smoothly! Keep us posted please. Debbie - anymore progress on your 6 eggs? I'm anxious to know how you both get on as I will be going for my EC early next week so have it all ahead of me! Will be thinking of you all.

Take care.

Hi everyone,

A bit sore and tired but glad to be home with my puppy for the day on the couch! Doc came in and informed me they got 26 eggs. I have no idea if that is good but it sounds like a lot to me! They transfer next Wednesday or Thursday. I start the progesterone shots tonight - yuck!

Thank you everyone for your help, advise and wishes. I send it all right back at everyone going through this. All my best,

Brandi

Brandi.....congratulations, 26 is a HUGE amount of eggs, really! (I've never had more than 10).

The next piece of waiting is nerve racking. When will they call to tell you how many fertilised?

Good luck with ET next week. As soon as you've a test date, post on the test dates thread and I'll add you to the list.

Debra.

Hello All,
Brandi - as people have siad 26 eggs is HUGE. I have only ever had 6 eggs. Best of luck with them all. You should get plenty to freeze with that amount.

Amers - from my 6 eggs 4 fertilised and on Wednesday they returned 3 to me. They said that they were all above average quality. We got to see them before they put them back. 1 was 2 cells, 1 was 3 cells and 1 was 4 cells and they were very pleased with their progress. I'm now impatiently waiting - taking it easy at home (and am very bored!).

Hope everyone is coping ok.

Keep up the PMA

Love
Debbie

Brandi - Welcome. Sorry you've had such a worrying time going through stims. You really must have had a surge at the end. 21 out of 26 ! Wow !! That's amazing news. I hope ET goes smoothly for you today / tomorrow.

Hi Sandy,

The xfr went great, i think! The doc said it was perfect and that my two embies were both very strong. The rest will pop into the freezer today I suspect. He had me taking more Bravelle from the first day of injections due to my folicle development. I suppose it worked! Thanks for checking and I will keep everyone posted.

All my best,
Brandi
