Hi Bibby I am now on day 7..and I now have a few little yellow bruises on my tummy...getting quite sore now to inject.. My hubby is quite good to tell the truth...and he always rewards me with a chocolate... I can already fell my tummy getting rounder..but I haven't felt sick or anything else really so I have been really lucky. I am having my baseline scan on Monday ( if AF actually turns up..been waiting since Tuesday..) Sods law the one time I want it it will be late and delay everything. We are having an extra down reg week as our clinic is shut now the week I was supposed to go in for e/c and e/t. I should start the Menagon around the 25th of October and then if all goes to plan have the e/c on 11 Nov and the e/t on the 13 Nov. What about you? Speak soon Take care Becky B

Hi! I'm on day 9 of down reg and have been told to ring the hospital when AF arrives. That could be anytime really - I range from 28 days to 40/50 odd! I'm hoping it will arrive next week, then I can have my baseline scan and get on with the other drugs - Gonadatrophin or something. My tummy is OK, I've done a few bruises but not many so far. Hubby is being patient, especially when I absolutely sobbed my heart out last night because the cat kept sitting on my boobs which are sooooooo sore it's unreal! It must be the hormones, I just started telling him the cat had hurt me and I broke down crying, sobbing, etc. Weird! It makes it better to have someone to compare notes with. Hi Bibby I have got cats too .2...Bruno and Tyson..and they got told off the other day for walking on my tummy as it was hurting...haven't got sore boobs at all though.. I have been feeling quite jolly on the down reg so I am bound to get the full works on the stims!! I'll ask hubby to buy a bumper pack of tissues I think.. Well AF arrived at 1.00 this morning...day 30 so kept me waiting a bit which now means no scan tomorrow..now have to wait until Thursday but at least it means we should be able to start the Menagon the following Wednesday. It is really nice to find someone to share the experience with.. I was finding that I was starting to feel really boring talking to all of my friends about things ..and so started avoiding people ..so this website is fantastic for me!..and it costs nothing (well almost) When is your baseline scan? It must be really annoying to have a period range from 28 to 40 days ...because you would never know when you are due on? Did you try to take Agnus Catus before ttc to regulate your periods..it worked for me. ( you can't take it whilst doing IVF tho or if there is any chance you are pg) Let me know how you are getting on.. Luv Becky B

Hello Becky Thanks for the reply - as you say, it helps to have someone to talk it through with. A few people at work know what's happening but I don't go into details as I don't want to have to be giving out updates/progress reports, etc. I don't mind on here though as we're all in the same boat aren't we? I'm glad your AF arrived (not often we say that!). Let me know how your scan goes on Thursday and when you'll be starting the stims. My baseline scan hasn't been booked yet, I have to wait until AF arrives. I'm now on day 35 which is nothing unusual and it's showing no signs of starting soon either. If AF doesn't arrive by Thursday, I have to phone the hospital and they will tell me what to do. I wouldn't be surprised if AF didn't arrive at all - they always disappear if I get even a little bit stressed. I'll keep you updated! I didn't try anything to regulate my periods before I started on IVF as I've always tried to have a kind of relaxed attitude towards conceiving. I went through the usual ovulation testing kits for a short time, but I didn't want to mess around too much. However, 5 years down the line, I've had to resort to IVF - that's life! Boobs are still killing me, hubby is banned from touching me anywhere at the moment! Anyhow, I'll leave it there for now. Let me know how you get on - have you seen all the +ve announcements lately? Hello again Bibby.. The scan went okay today...got to go back next Monday for another baseline scan as my lining is too thick still! I also had the practice embryo transfer - not too bad! and also 2 or 3 swabs ( a bit like a pap smear!)They do these tests to make sure that you haven't got an infection that they need to sort out before the e/c and e/t. Things are still on track though.. we were given all of our blood test forms today for hormone levels prior to stim drugs..ones after stim drugs...Hep B and C (which is now law as of this week they said!) I also got all of the stim drug needles and mixing needles and more d/r as they extended my dr by another week. I am still due for e/c around the 11 November.. I am still feeling chirpy..no feelings really...bad AF...but theyn isn't it always... I hope that AF greets you soon..if it makes you feel better this was the first month in around 10 years that it showed no signs of arriving...and it didn't turn up slowly either!! Be prepared! Hiya Just a quick note to say I have probs getting into chat room (see separate message - called "Chatroom"). Hopefully if i get sorted I will be around to chat on Friday. I'll post again before Fri to let you know. So you've got another week of d/r then before you start stims? I hope I have understood your message correctly! I just wish things would move on for me now, soooooooo impatient... We had all the blood tests (Hep B, etc) before they would let us start IVF so we've had all that bit. Everywhere has a different way of doing things though don't they? Anyhow, I'm not around for a couple of days but should be back Thurs. Keep your eyes peeled matey!! Take care. love bibby
