Advice needed from those who used HPT for their result

Post by Natalie Anne »

I had a FET on 16th Feb and was told to do a HPT 14 days later which was Wednesday this week. I got a negative but haven't had my period yet. I was told to test again 2 days later - today. I got another negative.

So far i've had 3 tiny spots of blood a week ago, which i hoped might be implantation bleeding. I've got no period pain, nor sore boobs and have been feeling very sick in the mornings. I'm also very tired.

My clinic doesn't do blood tests and has advised me to do HPTs every 2 days and call them when i either get a positive result or start my period.

This is very hard. I just want a result. I wondered if anyone has had a similar experience and went on to get a positive after 2 or more negatives?

I'm just looking for a bit of hope and reassurance. I never joined a buddy group for Feb/Mar because i have limited access to a computer and didn't feel i'd be able to support the other girls on it properly.

any advice please?!

thanks
Natalie

Hi, have you asked your GP if you can have a blood test there instead? they might charge you as they've not requested it but that must be better than the waiting? alternatively, call your local hosp and ask if you can pay to have one there.

Sorry this is dragging out for you like this.
Debra.

thanks for your replies girls. My nurse told me on Monday that if it hadn't already showed as a positive, it wasn't going to. I finally got my period today, so it's basically been a 3ww which has been hellish and had a disappointing outcome.

we're trying to stay positive though because we've still got 10 frosties.

hope to be coming over to this side before too long!
