It's perhaps a little early to start but I was wondering who else will be cycling in May?
We are hoping for our first FET sometime during the second or third week in May and we just can't wait to get started!
Time flies and it will be here before we know it!

Hi Claire,

Just spotted your post and i may well be cycling in May. Got our appointment a week on monday, joint consultation, and then who knows. If we get accepted on will start beginning May. Quite nervous about it all as it will be our first attempt.

Were are you having your treatment? I will be going to Liverpool womens.

off to sunny Spain 14th April - am HRT POF woman so start cycling with donor straight away..will be ready for ET (God willing) during May

Just wanted to say hi - and I am glad you are getting there - we are LW as you know have an appointment on Friday 18th - when I start sniffing (hopefully!!!)so we over lap a little?!!

I think we had a similar appointment to you in sept last year and started at the end of october - so yeah fingers crossed may you should be started - keep in touch as it is nice to hear from people at the same place

Little bit tipsy just now been out in liverpool tonight for a few beers and a curry before the tmt starts

hi all of you,
I'd love to join you if i can. we have just had a -ve following our first attempt at IVF, but we are hoping to start again soon. after my poor ovaries have had a rest,we should be gearing up to start downregging very end of april with the main tmt in may. this is all dependent on things looking ok at the time, but i am staying optimistic. hope all of you are doing ok in the meantime.....

Hi Girls! We are hoping to start in MAY. Yah!!! Ive been waiting to join one of these threads for ages. Finally I can!!
We will be starting IUI, providing we get our appointment in April then we start when AF arrives, all being well, this should be 1st May!!

This will be my 1st ever go, excited and nervous!! Currently trying to be healthy.

It looks like there are going to be a lot cycling around May and hopefully a big fat bunch of positives to come from it.

hopefully i will know more next week, i cant wait to be moving forward, it seems life has been on hold for so long now.

Looks like I am the youngest here, and newest to treatment. I hope you all take me under your wings!!

Julie (taylorjools) Can I ask, what is POF? and is HRT hormone replacement treatment?

I am due to start my first cycle of IVF/ICSI in May. I am very excited and scared at the same time.

Hopefully there is power in numbers.

Hi All....
Im hoping to start in may...
We had an appointment on the 8th of march, we just have to wait for my dp to have a blood test to check his chromosomes. then we will start icsi at CARE in nottingham.
I am also excited, nervous and trying to be healthy with diets and exercise!

Just want to say, a big hello today to:
claire, sue e, Julie, randa, Julesg, minnow, Sher8 and Brinilass!!

You guys are my buddies, and I am sure I'll need you!!
Appears I am the only one doing IUI too, every one else doing ICSI or IVF.
I am now also not the youngest, now that Brinilass has joined. How is everyone, I am trying so hard to eat healthy but it's hard sometimes I crave chocolate, the other nite I fancied a glass of Baileys, had to say no to myself. Salad for tea again!!

Going to be jumping on the April - May wagon. Should start new treatment mid-April which will mean a May 2ww.

Am I supposed to be giving up certain foods and drinks already? I don't actually drink much, but the idea of crashing on food already is v. depressing

I wish you all great success with your treatments. It really is so nice to know that there are others going through it at the same time so that we can compare notes (and hormones

)

Should I be taking any special vitamins does anyone know
