Lumi - I'm sorry you've had bad news this time. It sounds like you're strong though, and already ready for next time. Good on you.

Kim - Well done. You must be elated :)

Debbie - Just 2 more sleeps until you get your real test result. Try not to be disheartened. We've seen this so many times (wrong early results). PMA

Oh Debbie!
I'm so so sorry. I think you are smart to prepare yourself for the final test. I will add that I have an ex-sister-in-law who had her period throughout both of her pregnancies (full-term, healthy babies). It can and does happen.
You have to go for another round. If it is a -ve for sure, you can't quit. My dh did the math early on and it's true that the more times you go the odds turn in your favor (a 20% chance done 5 times converts to a 9?% chance- don't remember the number, but it's very high).
Sending you a hug from Seattle!

Lumi! Not you too!!!
I feel so bad for you! :(
I have so much respect for your attitude, though. With an outlook like that, you will succeed eventually!
Take care and God bless you.

Hello All,
Thanks for all of your kind words. Af is still very light but I'm sure that it will begin properly sometime during this VERY long day!!! This is exactly what happened last time so I guess I'm resigned to it now.

Lumi - I'm sorry for your disappointment too. I guess I know how you feel.

Take care all.

Love

Lumi - so sorry about the -ve  it is so good to see you being so positive about things and fingers crossed for June and a positive result :D

Debbie - try hard to keep positive, I know you think there's no point but there's always a chance it could be the result you so want so keep going - we're all thinking of you.

Kim - congrats again - it really does give us all the lift we so desperately need. It proves that it can work :D

Thanks so much for the kind words. I have been back to work today (I teach) so the kids took my mind off things! I took Monday off so they were thrilled to see me - nice to be wanted!

I am now watching Eastenders waiting for 'Precious Babies' at 9. My mum doesn't know about our IVF, just that we do have 'issues'. She very sweetly suggested DH and I watch it tonight incase one day we have to go through it! Arghhhhh....wish I had good news to suprise her with.

Thanks again Lumi x

Hello All,
Thanks for all of your kind words and optimism but I'm afraid the result is a BFN from me :( . I'm really upset about it - worse than last time. I'm not sure why it is worse this time - I guess the light af didn't help (it's still light so I don't know where I am really). We've got our follow up appointment booked for 25th April so I guess we might find out a bit more then - not holding my breath though. I guess we may get the same answers as last time - not sure why it didn't work. Everything seemed ok - try again!!!!!! DH is keen that we stick to our original plan of 3 tries so I think we'll probably have one last go - if we don't I'll always regret it. If the 3rd time doesn't work we'll consider adoption.

Thankyou to all who supported me through this and I wish you all have better luck than me.

Love
Debbie
