2ww and going crazy

Post by jdd2131 »

Hi all,

Just joined this site and what a blessing I found it! I am currently in the 2ww and going absoultly crazy!!! got no symptoms whatsoever so really do not think its worked (had sucessful IVF in 03). have a question to ask, do you not bleed untill after preg test, or bleed before?

Thanks

Hi Julia

Glad you have found the site, you will get lots of help and support on here!

I can't tell you first hand about the symptoms but I know some of the others on here who have had +ve results have either had no symptoms at all or the feeling they are about to start their AF anytime!

First time I had IVF I bled before test was due, this time I tested and sadly the result was still -ve but didn't bleed till a couple of days after

So unfortunately I think there are no hard and fast rules regarding this, it's just mother nature!

Best thing to do is stay positive and have lots of PMA have a look around the site and you could maybe join the test dates thread - you will find others on there who are due to test anytime this month and you can share your thoughts and feelings with them

Hope that helps!

Joanne

Hi there

I agree with you Joanne there are no hard and fast rules (unfortunately).

:D Keep smiling and stay positive - I know it's really difficult :!:

I had no bleeding until after the test - I think everyone will be different, just stay positive and look after yourself :)

Hi - agree with all that's been said. I tried really hard with last ICSI to record what happened each day and I compared it to other people on here and to my time before and guess what - ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE TO IT WHATSOEVER. Two people can have exactly same symptoms and one be + and one - sorry can't give you any answers - there just aren't any. Only thing you can do is relax, keep healthy, calm and try not to think about it too much (ha ha!) and DO NOT TEST EARLY! Good luck, we'll all be praying for you, Cherylx

Hello Julia,
Welcome to the board. Glad you found it during the dreaded 2ww. It really is a diffuclt time so spend lots of time on here getting support from people in the same boat.

Like people have said everyone is different and each cycle can be different. On both of my cycles I have had bleeding before test day so have been pretty sure the results would be -ive. The first cycle I had sore boobs and backache and on the second I had no symptoms of anything - until the bleeding started.

All you can do is be patient :? and wait for your test date.

Keep up the PMA

Love

Hi Julia

I really do hope all your dreams come true.

Are you making sure your drinking plenty of water and trying to relax best possible.

I don't even know myself how I got through the 2ww but you have no choice. I was bleeding throughout my 2ww and I was also getting period pains, I thought it was a negative for me but I am now blessed with a 13 month old son Alex-Mitchell.

I really do hope it works for you.
Good Luck
