Hi Debra

Consultation 24 March and God willing should be in the April thread - unless I'm referred for further tests :!:

Hi Deb,

Yes, I'm testing on 1st April - hope I get that far.............. Sorry, no PMA from me, keeping my head and heart on the floor this time round.

Anyone else doing PIO shots? Anyone else in the UK using Emla cream - really makes a big difference!

I have just had 2 embryos transferred today and therefore I will be testing on 4th April. There were both 3 day, 7 cell, grade -1 embryos and apparently you can't get better than that at me 43 and DH 50!

This 2ww (my 4th in 8 months) is the worst part of the process and any pearls of wisdom to help my embryos bed down for the next 9 months will be greatly received.

Good luck and lots of baby dust to everyone, wherever you are in the emotional process of assisted conception.

Caroline

Firstly Loads of Good Luck :D

There is no easy way to get through the 2ww - as you have been through it before you know only too well that it is difficult.

Keep logging on and talking to us and I hope we'll be able to keep your mind off it :)

Sarah

It is usually 2-3 days, they watch the cell division and gage the best time.

For me it was 2 days, but my friend's ET worked out at 2.5 days so I think it is really down to the progression of the embryoes :!:

Why isn't anything simple for us :?: :x

How are you feeling - is it tomorrow you go back to the hospital to find out :?:

Hi Caroline

Welcome to the site and well done on your good quality embies. As you know, the hardest bit is now to come ...

Joining in with the chat on the various threads should help pass some time away, and you'll hopefully have a few laughs along the way too.

I'm sure that lots and lots of PMA helps too !

Hi to both Caroline and Sarah.

Caroline....way to go! great sounding embryos...we LOVE stories like this from women in their prime! You might want to join us on the 40+ thread if you want.

Sarah. My clinic do ET two days after EC. I'm due to have EC on Monday 4th and they've pencilled in Wednesday 6th for ET. This is all subject to what happens on 31st when we have a scan to see how they're all doing. You'll see others having 5-day blastocyst transfers which obviously happen later. It all depends on your clinic and how your particular embryos fertilise/develop. Good luck tomorrow with EC, will you have a GA or just be sedated?

Sarah - best wishes for tomorrow's EC. Have you been through all this before or is this your first time? At this stage, I can only imagine how you're feeling but in one month I hope to know how you're feeling! Take good care of yourself and I'll look forward to following your progress.

Caroline - fabulous news - take care and lots of positive vibes to you.

To everyone on their 2WW, hope this finds you all well and incubating nicely  hoping to see lots of :D :D instead of the :?:
